An electronic track from the Dead In The Water sessions. I thought the Last FM version was missing something, so I went in to fine-tune it.
This is the end-result of that fine-tuning.
The track deals with how there are usually no easy outs…
Inspired partly by a co-worker who was a great, now lost musician. This track is
somewhat about my five year stint in Gallup, New Mexico (Bob Dylan anyone?). This
was written as a poem before I started writing Slumber Love.
This song is one of the few i wrote just for Abide. I've been listening almost
non-stop to Dylan's latest release and this is what I got out of it. I mean no
disrespect to Bob, just trying to sing my songs.
This is quite an old track that got abandoned because I didn't feel it was right or going anywhere.
But listening to it in iTunes this morning I thought it passed muster. I don't think it has enough variation to justify it's length but it's gently…

the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later
