Need you the most by Trina Dova 2023 I want to seek you Like I seek you When I need you the most And if I'm honest There's never a time when I don't need you the most So, I lift my eyes up to the heavens And I circle round these city walls And I look to you my God and King And these walls come tumbling down I want to need you Like I need every moment of every day And I know just what I am asking Don't bring blue skies it.might bring the rain Chorus Bridge These walls will fall Oh come tumbling down Oh fear and doubt be routed Oh guilt and shame Don't you know we overcame By His Blood and in His Name Oh we overcame So I fall to my knees And I lift His Holy name Chorus Bridge

Found a interesting sounding indian instrument via the computer world and strummed out chords on my lil midi guitar. Added some percussion, strings and a flute.

Beautiful orchestration! Who are you!!

Did this many years ago. It came together very quickly. There are know synths, all guitars and backwards vocals, sped up vocals, detuned vocals.....whacked sounds. I wrote the lyrics on the spot. I love its deep personal message...lol!

Thanks Greg, it's a combination of Boss pedals (GT-1, SY-200, RV-200, OC-5) mixed together with the drum machine in my RC-500 and the direct signal from my Gretsch

An experiment with Damage 2. It was going to be part of a larger album but didn't make the cut. It's a song about the subtle experiences we all have and somehow connect with each other in one way or another. The song is more about that connection…

Think you have different idea of what Demo means! Sounds pretty sorted to me

Wonderful to have you back on alonetone - and hear new stuff from you. This is beautiful - I love the way you change the feeling up throughout, and those are absolutely stunning vocals...damn.

Another song that never made the cut on a recent album, but I plan on finishing it later. Drums were written by a friend of mine after I gave him a very rough drum idea.

A very rough demo of another song that didn't make the cut. Drums need to be re-recorded and then everything mixed.

"Didn't make the cut"...you're hilarious. This is brilliant. I love the dizzying synth line.

(Remastered 22/10/2021) I wasn't even sure the recording machine was still going to work after nearly five years... Certainly, bits of me don't work anymore... But, surprisingly, I got this done in 24 hours, start to finish... Strange old world…

Written and recorded as part of our family RPM project this year. :-D 13 year old Jasmine on vocals and ukulele. We wrote and recorded 10 songs under the name Cattica. It was just the best month of lockdown imaginable.

Another one from the archives! Collab with glu from 2009 - I took his original guitar track and added vocals, then he remixed and made about four more versions, but this is my fave.

Sometimes, just a bunch of rubbish from a soundcheck can be used to create something interesting. In this case, setting up to record tenor sax (with a tin-foil pie plate covering the bell), some microphone taps, and a bit of vocalising, most with…

Norm played the percussion first, which is a Bembe pattern; I couldnt help playing a melody and creating lyrics for this perc track. Thanks for the listen, Enjoy!

Great to hear this one again! I'm (still) working on an album with the brilliant JST - he's just ridiculously good at everything. :) But so long as he's doing it on the same album as me, I'm okay with it.

Dug this one out of the crypt. Been so long ago I can't remember the motivation for writing it. Probably one of my many broken heart episodes.
