Lyrics:
Trading Smiles
Trading smiles on a cloudy day
Wish good fortune come your way
A passing glance, I’m on my way
Trading smiles
Courtesy seems all but gone
No idea what went wrong
For most of us, it’s been too long

Goodness, I have a lot of listening-catch-up to do! Great slide work and patiently played, as is fitting for the song. I like how you don't rush but, rather, find a groove immediately which enables your listeners to relax and enjoy. The groove phenomenon is true of all your songs!
I missed this one Bethan's beautiful vocal and Lisa's playing along with you guitar a wonderful piece of work what collabs were made for....excellent job all round.....
I was meant to working on a collab...but i got lost....
I got a different way
somebody told me that this is the way
the individual no longer has a say
But i gotta dream i’m gonna change this crazy scene
i tell you now there ain’t no more…
another little doodle....
I JUST WANT TO ROCK N ROLL
all i want from life is too feel like i’ve lived
the day they bury me i want to feel like theres nothing left
while theres life in these bones i’m gonna nothing but live
i want to rock…
This one is dedicated to my dear friend John. Thanks for changing my life for the better....
Also a big thanks to our own Greg Connor who helped me get the chords for my own uke accompaniment, and who kindly played the beautiful guitars…
This is a meditative piece for solo flute. It is extremely calming and peaceful. It was originally created as an experiment to see if I could create a high quality piece of music using only basic equipment and free software. It worked!
This is a meditative piece for solo flute. It was created using only free software. It does a lot with only a few effects (reverb and delay). This piece is great for calming down and finding peace. Enjoy.
This is my first collaboration with the talented SLKrell! He had a reggae song called "Rancho Raggae" posted a couple of weeks ago in need of a lyric, so I asked If I could write some for it, and poof whala!! Here it is! Thanks Slkrell for the…
I wanted to get this happy little tune out before I unleash a new experimental heavy psych rock project.
I needed a break from the distortion :) So I decided cheesy horns and woodwinds are always fun.
If you want to use it, feel free.

I like the earthy quality of this....
Second time through, I'm noticing the great lyrics and the two part harmony even more.
I like the acoustic version a lot, but this begs for an electric guitar set on fire. Maybe you need two versions of this song.
Sadly, Annie and Allan are now divorced...
The games are over...
Annie & Allan
Annie and Allan were having a problem
Made a decision to go their own ways
Annie and Allan made an announcement
Not even knowing how it saddened…
My humble tribute to Freddie King... Without him we wouldn't have Eric & without Eric, I would probably have never picked up a guitar.
This is sort of a pastiche of Hide Away & The Stumble & tracks like that :-)
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
Great arrangement.
'Bout 2nd verse I had to go get me a beer to cry in LOL But this wasn't wasting time!

rteally cool effort guys, sweet rockin'

Back for another listen. Awarded the Best of 2011 on Alonetone, by me!
This is great - I love the harmonies especially. The whistle is an excellent counter point to the wonderful guitars.
Ooooooh , this is so lovely, sweet guitar , & Bethan , who would want more Rob
Rockin' in the easy rythnm of the tune
Lovely song, very soulful.

@ Norm, I'm working on it!
Very nice. Great melody and chord progression.
Radio ready in my opinion. This is just so classy.
Great collab, amazing vocals Bethan :)
Beautiful track! Beautiful vocal! w;-)
Great job. One of the cleanest collaborations I've heard recently. Played it 3 times to absorb it. Nice. Daryl
Fabulous track! What an awesome threesome!!
Great collab! Just perfect. (Ah, Bee, can you ask those Robins to hurry up with it?)

I can picture those big things ambling along to the music.
This gets the rebel (or what's left of it) in me stirring.
Good Rebel Anthem
I love the Ukulele and the heartfelt lyrics. Isn't it fun when things work out for the better?
Sounds like a fun and successful experiment.
Calming and tranquil
This is really beautiful.
Oooooooooooooooo! Gets my feet tapping!
Yes, that's very happy music. I can see using it in a variety of ways.

Interesting stuff! I like the fullness of the instrumentation.
Nice departure from my usual diet. I love it!
I like how this builds. It's easy to drift along with the music.
Thought provoking!
I think I'm going to go put my guitar back in the case.
This is the stuff! Right up my alley.
I love this! Nice acoustic guitar playing. Good story telling. *"Riding my thumb"*
I had to listen again to that intro. Much better now that I know where it's going.
I'll admit, the intro scared me a little but I really enjoyed it after that. It has an ethereal quality. Well Done!
Best *Hedgehog* song I ever heard!
