really like the mix of the raw chug and the backing vocal woo type bits on this one. Tone of your vocal is an asset too, and you can really hear it on this one. A very natural advantage that! Like the more speaky part especially.
this is a song that came from the pain of dealing with idiots that just dont get it on a daily basis. newest mix tries to deal with vocal vs instruments imbalance.
theres alot of idiots out there to write about! I often feel lucky to have music to vent or else I dont know where I'd be.
Really catchy melody here. Think that ones gonna still be with me come tea time
you have an awesome 1980's movie soundtrack feel to these new songs. like i heard them growing up and had not heard them since. just rediscovering them again. very nice.
Heres one of the collabs i have recently done with DJBride, Dave has done all the music and i added the waffle....my fav so far....hope you enjoy...

Drama in the cheap Hotel room 52 (Lyrics)
I’m in room 52
and i honestly don’t know what to do
you’ve taken…
Just me and my acoustic.
I've just learned how to record both at the same time.
I didn't know this song the day before this recording.
It was done in one take, with dodgy guitar playing, wrong lyrics and sore throat :)
Matt and I have decided to end our albums with somewhat disconnected ditties that leave the listener with the "that was random" feeling. UFOs, cornfields, and two bewildered farmers should do the trick. Hoping for Steven King to make a movie out…
This track features my daughter Madeleine singing the pre-chorus and chorus. It's about famous kids who veer off of the "role model" track in favor of fame, fortune, and self-indulgence.
When we sat down to work the demo on this tune, Matt already had the guitar layering and arrangement worked out--including the wicked long intro. The lyrics are based around something my wife and I did when I was away on business. When I called…
A song about taking the time to raise our kids instead of letting them do what ever they want. I know, I know...shut up old man. Go ahead, you can say it. It's a rocker that we had a ton of fun producing. It's the only track that Matt says anything…

Ultra cool! Dusty, rustic spook. Vocals are amazing. And the guitars make me want to spark up! ...and that's exactly what I'm a gonna do.
A hint of the Doors on this one. Nice groove.
Nice touch with the answers. Actually, the Be my lover line is pretty hooky. Build on that.
A little New Orleans blues sounding. Good work!
This is great. The playing is restrained, and yet this is precisely what lends the song its power.
Nice musical tension here, coupled with the minimalist lyrical observations. Really suggestive, quite an effective piece. Well done!
Love the TVZ, bless yer heart.
likin that vocal great backing vocals too thumping guitar yeeah!!!
bloody brilliant
I love the chords in the chorus in this.. dark, but brilliant. Especially good use of your vocal in the verse and the chorus is a real pay off. Sold.
