"fooled by the opposite image" ...that's a bad thing right? Sorry I did say I was taking a break from making music as you can hear in my latest uploads that I haven't been putting much into these tracks. However I am working on something much much bigger, yes something larger than a pile of elephant dung.

The first song we recorded a couple years ago for our band which went under Cryptic Nothings until we found out there was another band of the same name. Name changed to Nail of The Sun (i think) though we don't do shit together anymore.
A few years ago I was introduced to the song "Wake Up" by Mad Season. So I'll tell you I stayed up all freakin' night listening to that song and getting inspiration. The original version of this song had Rhodes piano and what not.
this was titled "Cats Eyes In The Barn Tonight" and sadly didn't make it onto "The Haystack" rpm 2010 album. So a B-side for you that I remixed without the vocals, a second guitar track. And added other elements into it.
Post RPM Challenge song about one of my favorite drinks to whatever lyrics I wrote that was written after rpm 2009 but never recorded. Recorded guitars one day and added vocals the next. Cool tuning of B-A-D-G-B-D.
All playing by me, Roland HD-1 (drums), godin xtSA, Epi Sheraton, bass, keys. Recorded/mastered on Boss BR-1200.
Twilight turns into a psychedelic sunrise
The vision has me right between my eyes
Everything is glowing with a strange light…
One of my favorite songs of all time and one of my favorite voices.
Thanks M.T.
My Skin
Some days I’m fine
Yeah some days I feel sublime
All the time
But then there’s days
I wanna crawl out of my skin
And leave it in

I agree with sister savage. Classic song and thanks for the comment geas. Sometimes I think people treat me as if I were some kind of machine and other times kind comments like yours remind me it's worth it. Ty!
Come Tomorrow
-
I'm like a tumbleweed, got no roots
I'm like a climbing vine, leaves and chutes
Come tomorrow, I might not be around
Come tomorrow
I'm a reflection, you see me in your mirror
A missed connection, so far and yet right here…
it would be horse sh*t if I said I didn't like this song. Everything from the drums and bass to the arpeggiated sound and the guitar pik'n'slide notes. :)
Take me back to ole Virginia Lord, he's pluggin' in a mic.
I dig the cheesy Farfisa Rotary patch......
Here's a song to sing
a fairy tale
no mountain high
or oceans to sail
no darken nights
in the belly of a whale
no hammer's throne
or red…
Reg has been philosophising about life tonight and this is his conclusion............
LIFE IS LIKE A WAVE
The body is the sea and life is the wave
Life is just like a wave
Life is just like a wave
Life is like a wave gaining power
Life is like…
Reg has been doing a bit of thinking about life and the way he's going to live what he has left.......
IT’S THE STORIES THAT LAST FOREVER
Life’s like a dream it will soon disappear
When you die it has gone forever

Reg was positive that she was the one until he had chat with Norm who said "Be careful remember Desirea" Norm was only trying to help but it has put doubt in Reg's mind and now hes not sure what he wants...........................thought i'd do…
was waiting for, no boozin, "no carooooooozin" elongated part of the word to be sung. Maybe a re-recorded version? But I do like this how it is, which is good.
Reg was reading the paper today about the Spandex vigilante. Now Reg has got himself sorted becoming a superhero appeals to him. Ummmm about the suit i think it should be Blue to match my eyes with a large TTR motif of some sort on the chest in…
this is great! Your a song recording machine, not exactly a multi-tracker but a rock n roll multi-tasker of sorts. I've always wondered about the spandex wearing folk, where do they all come from kind of thing, if you know what i mean. lol
well with that being said, I'm selling myself long tall and wide because I am very appreciative to be alongside such far out cool music on this blind chaos 2011. I really am loving all the delay guitars and what not. Awesome job folks.
@breaking light, I went into this blindly I didn't even listen to last years or really knew too much about this project. I expect I'd do something more experimental next time. So I just recorded something I wrote on the spot with the "fruity loops pitcher"/autotune thing. Now I feel like I under did myself listening to the rest of the tracks. Oh well theres next year.
The riff was inspired by an electronic device that has two speeds. I kept switching back and forth and listening to the hum popped this into my head. The lyric was supposed to be George W Bush bashing (the twit) but I don't really know what…
I like what I hear although and not to worry about this but need a little scruff in your vocals or something that makes your vocals genuinely individual. So when you here these songs you know it's not just Robert James. Love all the stoner riffs and how righteous they are just a little less on the church choir vocals. Great to hear your stuff Robert!
Field Fresh - Texas Cow Patties are yummy little milk chocolate carmel peanut patties that come in this neat little wooden box..... Not really cow shit!
Comments on JESMIAUS 's stuff
Nice phase
SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!
Sounded great to me, right up my ally corredor. Keep it up.
well then, THANK YOU :o) ...though I still stand to my reply that I am working on something bigger than a pile of elephant dung, hah

Fine energetic drive. And don't workout too much, keep pleasing us with your musical efforts...
"does it fit like a glove, does it give you love does it give you all that you want...dun dun dun end up on the sofa" Brilliant!!
Cool groove! Vox sound a bit Elvis at times! :)
I like each of them for different reasons... What happens when you blend 'em? I'd like to hear that.

Love it! Favorite and you should do a special performance of this on 5-21-2011. LOL. Cheers for giving up your fears.

love the leads but love the bass more. Think I would really dig the vox if I could hear them better. Nice track man.
nice, much different from my "woke up this morning" track but that's good to know we don't think the same. lol
dig the airy vocals and wet backing tracks why is there sand in my drink all of a sudden? heh
it's a good thing, it's a good thing regs. lol...at first I wasn't sure but I actually dig this toon. Catchy and has a moral so to say. :)
guitar ran through a reverse gate effect, thanks! :)
and you know they say you should snack every 2 hrs or so. :)
