Come Tomorrow
Cave Street
Come Tomorrow
I’m like a tumbleweed, got no roots
I’m like a climbing vine, leaves and chutes
Come tomorrow, I might not be around
Come tomorrow
I’m a reflection, you see me in your mirror
A missed connection, so far and yet right here
Come tomorrow, I won’t look you in the eye
Come tomorrow, you’ll forget to wonder why
I’m a whisper here beside your ear
Constant reminder the end is always near
Come tomorrow, my meaning will be clear
Come tomorrow, come tomorrow
Holy crap...I emailed you back, totally blew me away! I freakin love it. Can't even explain how well your voice fit with that riff. Wow...
@rinyville - Thanks for the response! I tend to want to bury my vocals in the mix... I resisted the urge this time, but when I listen back, it just seems too loud. I am really curious if anyone agrees that it could stand to be brought down just a touch?
To all who commented, thanks for listening! I do think the vocal is *just a bit* too loud... anyone agree with that assessment? @Mr Sandbags - I did actually smoke Marlboros once upon a time, but that was over twenty years ago! No more tobacco for me!
So moody and surreal..goosebumps man! wow!
Thanks! Amazing track! I heard it before and like it but finally had a chance to really listen to it tonight. Love all the elements of the recording, guitar deep and low, with a floating trem lead, and deep vox. Fav'd man, fav'd.
Oh swoon! That voice! That voice! Agree with Paul - definitely picking up the movie-killer-soundtrack vibe. Totally hot.
Love it! Favorite and you should do a special performance of this on 5-21-2011. LOL. Cheers for giving up your fears.
Oh, nice intro! Michael, that voice does it for me. Love the message here. Beautifully done. Just having another listen.
