Love is a slippery beast.
Just when you think you've got a firm hold of it, it squirts out of your hands like a piece of wet soap and ends up somewhere in India on a spiritual quest for an obscure guru.

Nothing to do with Wiccans. I can't remember why I called it 'Pentangle' - probably the first word that entered my head when it came time to save. I like to go with whatever bubbles up from the subconscious.

In memory of my dog, Pablo, who died a few years ago (no, he's not the dog in the photo - although he's buried not far from where I found that skeleton).
I thouht your songs were going to be along the heavymetal style based on your name. hehe. Looks..and names...are deceiving. This sounds like a song you would hear in a coffee shop...an interesting fusion of experimental/improvisational jazz.

The flutey sounds are actually the sound of a damp sponge wiped up the neck of a guitar, sampled and played back on a keyboard.
Some real guitar appears towards the end of this piece.
Lyrics:
Caged as a bird
free will is such a bitch
it's your responsibility to stay alive
pay the bills etc, etc
but how you enslave yourself
whether or not you enslave yourself
it's up to you
Again i'd love some feedback
I like the feel and the mix
do the lyrics work?
recorded t'night in an hour after trying all day to get the verse lyrics rammed into another tune
Well, this is number 10, and with only 8 days left, I think we may be calling it on this one. There are alot of scraps left over, and even a few experiments left to showcase, including a three part duet! but alas, time is escaping into the void…

Makes me think of a mountain stream flowing rocks.
Haunting. Really like your breathy vocals - understated yet powerfully emotional.
