Being a NYC native living in Guadalajara Mexico and a lover of darker more idea and emotion driven music of the Harder variety, I wanted to embark on something that to its core was something mystifying and at times perhaps scary for lack of a better word, but maintained the “tell a story” nature of the music I love and just don’t see nowadays. The Name: ChristMorphia means just what it is designed to sound like the metamorphosis of an internal Christ like figure that internal savior we all have inside us, call it what you will the little voice in your head, the angel and demon on you shoulder, or as I prefer your natural Human will to make choices for your own betterment and survival. My metamorphosis brought me to this to which I am still in a constant mode of change and adaptation. I have always been drawn to music and its spiritual qualities, so I taped into that to bring something that seems to be missing in an industry owned but cotton candy imagery and sounds.
