This song is a nice reprieve from all the "doom and gloom" this month has visited upon many of us. I definitely found myself tapping along with the beat and doing some air guitar (when no one was looking)! Fun stuff, Steve!

Thanks for listening Greg, Stoman and Proods. I'm not a talented musician like you guys. I'm just glad to have the opportunity to get some ideas out there, some funny and some serious. I have a bit of imagination and can write a few lyrics, but all of the sounds are produced from the GarageBand app. I'm surprised and happy that people are entertained and acknowledge me. Thank you again.

Glad you like it Tom. No, it is not based on the Aerosmith song. I've never heard that until just now. I wanted to try a kind of fusion of rock and dance, and I thought the barking noise would be funny at the end, as there are no vocals. I then thought that an amusing title would be a pun on the expression "Walking the dog", as if the noisy music was waking the dog. - Just how my mind works I guess.
Rocka my brain. Rocka my soul
Rocka my body in a six foot hole
Don't leave me here to face this night alone
Rock me in the evening. Rock me at night
Rock my body in the broad day light
But don't leave me here to face my life alone
You…
Thanks Tom. I appreciate your comments, and I'm pleased that you listen so closely. I'm conscious that I don't have much of a voice, and I'm not very confident about singing. There is not much power or range there, and I've noticed that I'm kind of deeper and hoarser since being on some medicine this last few weeks. I wrote this lyric about a year ago, and I've been trying to fit a tune to it. Overall I guess I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I want my efforts to have a style that mixes different elements and don't sound too predictable or boring. Getting my lyrics to fit is my second biggest problem. - Ideally I'd like to find someone to sing for me! Thanks again : )
You're always on my mind
Gotta take you with me
Can't leave you behind
Blind to circumstance
If I can get a little more
Gotta take the chance
Flyin' high again
It's do or die
There's no need to pretend
Runnin' from wall to…
GRUMBLE RUMBLE
Remembering Standing Rock
Grumble rumble goes the sky
Spitting water in my eye
Whhhhhhhhhhh goes the wind
Time to call the children in
That's no rumble from the sky
Those are guns with barrels that glow
And the freezing…

One of my originals :-) Everything that you can hear is just me, apart from the drums. I did quite a few layers of guitar work. I used my electric 6 string Fender guitar for creating a bass type of sound. I also used that one for the solo ( I…
My first take recording of my acoustic cover version of "Love me tender" by Elvis Presley. I played this on my little Höhner guitar with 6 nylon strings. I did a double recording for the guitar. Premier enregistrement de ma reprise acoustique…

Interesting sounds. I'm trying to figure out what you're doing. Like "Prood" said: "FUN" especially the dog at the end.
Nice! :)

Good effort! This isn't an easy song, but the tone of it sounds just right.
