Originally written a few weeks ago as a concept. A few hours ago I set down and tried to figure out what was I singing about then ... most of the orignal lyrics are there, some phrasing and rhymes needed mending .. hooked some cables and recorded…
It's been some time since I posted here ... getting back to recording material ... hope you like it ... this one is time and love ... enjoy!
Lyrics:
It's getting late
Oh, but not too late
To fall in love
To loose it all, to forget
Your sense…
[this is the first recording I have made of this new song - on my iPhone - just as the words were taking share. Hope to recorded a more robust version for the next RPM. Enjoy folks!]

Its been a long since I learned a new songs ... so here's one by The Civil Wars:
There's a note underneath your front door that I wrote twenty years ago
Yellow paper and a faded picture
And a secret in an envelope
There's no reasons
No excuses…

While bombs falling here in Sderot/ISRAEL, decided to put headphones and record new song ... minimal mix (full coming)
When I called you on the telephone
You're buddy said that you're not home
But I hear voices
Are your cuddling down there underneath…

A pretty raw version of a wonderful old Fairport Convention song. Recorded using the built-in mic on my iPhone, with elec guitar running through a small VOX amp w/ some delay. The room is hardly soundproof ... BUT ... I like it ... hope you do…
[as recorded while giving birth to the tune]
By Robert Herrick
(1591 - 1674)
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles today
To-morrow will be dying.
The glorious lamp of Heaven, the sun…

[work in progress - comments welcome]
You say
I doesn’t matter what I say
All the time we spent is gone now
Taken out
You cry
I'm not even asking why
Your head's up in the sky now
Your alive
When I ask you to explain…

Absolute power corrupts absolutely....
Lyrics:
One cloudless night, freedom's candle was snuffed
Kicked and punched, gagged and cuffed
They took him away, for what he's not
Then cracked his skull, as a gesture for his…
This song was inspired by a long walk....
Lyrics:
Down by the river, down by the shore we go
The moon above cast a beautiful glow
We walked around talking through the night
I can’t help but think how it felt right
Hey Constance, don’t you feel…
A song about making choices.
Life moves in small steps
By the choices we all make.
We decide by will and pride
The path we'd like to take.
And the places we end up
And the people we will know
We'll see, you and me
By where we choose…
