Ice: How did you do that? Sounds like ice wind chimes. I like the beginning the best! The piano is a tonal contrast. The mixture has a relaxing and chilling effect on a hot summer day.
I had envisioned the title referring to a suicide; however I suppose it could be anything attempted without success. In case you've not sussed it out yet, our friend Elle is not a happy camper.

I love this song's enigmatic title. I shall give you a hint: the two beings mentioned in the title are the same species. I shan't say more (unless you ask nicely).
@Tess: That's what I told my muse. I'm not sure WHAT she was smoking. The poetry and my manner of delivery remind me of Shel Silverstein. ;) Listen carefully for the Derps at the end of the track. LOL.
Wow, thanks very much. Quite gracious of you. I was a little insecure about it myself (not the composition which I think is solid, but the performance). I'd have spent six more months getting the vocals just so on this album. But then, paradoxically, some of them came out perfect on the first take. (Not this track!) But there I go again, admitting my own faults. Heh heh.
@Tess: It's a "flute-like" sound, isn't it? But it's actually a virtual synth app from Akai on the iPod Touch. Everything on this entire project except the vocals is the Akai Synthstation app. :)

Well then, this is a surprise! Thanks to all who have listened & thanks for reading this comment. I must say that this (sigh) is not my favorite track on this album. Give http://alonetone.com/fallingupart/tracks/angry-angel a whirl, or perhaps http://alonetone.com/fallingupart/tracks/cloud-watching or http://alonetone.com/fallingupart/tracks/sylvan-repose
Thanks again!

@Kavin: Thanks for listening. I love the synth engine for the Akai SS25. I wish they'd work the bugs out of the sequencer! (Yep, it's buggy, but that didn't stop me from doing an entire album with it.)
Well as you've come to know Reg wears his heart on his sleeve, the new woman who was going to be the one has gone. He's decided to go for a walk in the park to clear his head , he's sad oh! he is sad, sad, sad, .............
This one, i heard…
Hey, Reg, you're on the currently kickin' ass list! #3, man. Nice. I like the creepy deeply delayed backing vocals . . . like a recurring bad dream. If this is autobiographical, hang in there: the next "the one" may be just around the corner.
A cover of the Cure's minimalist alt-rock classic, an old favorite of mine.

If Ennio Morricone and Dr. Dre smoked a buttload of crack and decided to collaborate, except that one of them thought he was writing a soundtrack for the Godfather Part 11, and the other for Phantom of the Opera, Part 2, The Unwanted Sequel…
Hey, nice jorb. I like the Minimoogish bass (that ain't the real thang is it?) and the manner in which the guitar/keys melody meanders about above it. Going back for a second listen! :)
This is an exert from the Two regs Radio program on C.U.N.T. fm . The Regs are in the middle of re-write of their new book and this exert and others like it are hoped to be used as background for the Audio book. You can hear a lot more from the…
OMG, I had a Keith Landry track playing in a window behind this at the same time. Oops. That was REALLY strange. OMG, again! Oh, shit, this is hilarious! I have a few former bosses I think you're singing about here. How'd you know?
Hey, check out another cultural landslide's album from this year. Funny shit. But fast (or d/l it)--they are only leaving it up for 45 days.
Nice recasting of the classic. Have you heard of Luther Wright & the Wrongs? They have a complete country & bluegrass cover of PF's The Wall album. Pretty crazy stuff.
Did the world really need a cheesy, spaghetti western version of this classic Eagles song? I'm not sure. Did I make one anyway? Yes. Yes, I did. By the way the painting is "Villa Diablo" by Downe Burns.

Another track done for "THE RPM CHALLENGE".
I like the favor of this one,it's really different from the stuff I'v done before. It's also the "bed" for another tune that will be up later.
"IN THE SKY".
Dang! Damned fine job. I like it. :) Did you do the Indian raga scat (I don't recall what that "drum language" singing is actually called!) as a looping sample or is this track built in something like ACID?
Comments on fallingupart's stuff
Like way cool, dude

Fireside tales: I totally love the harmonica and I think I may even hear a crackling campfire, nice
delicious synchromaticity
Hey this is a trippy one, thanks for sharing!
144 tracks? that's gross
Totally dig! w;-)

*The Giving Tree*: a classic Silverstein.

Lovely freshness here. The flute(?) is a great touch.
Super tight harmony!
Trippy!!
New version, for all you fans of really bad lounge.

Fun Moogin'.
I don't understand a single word, but I like it. o.O
Conventionality belongs to yesterday, indeed. ;) Nice cover.

Nice acoustic work. :)

Totally demented. I love it.

Yummy retro sound on the drums. Is it samples or a dedicated box? If the later, what is it?
Nifty.

Classic. And I love the band name. You've brought back my roflmao. Thank you, thank you.
