In this track the guitar melodies and solos are based on an unusual scale John McLaughlin (of Mahavishnu Orchestra fame) liked to use. It's basically a Phrygian Dominant scale with the flat-6 removed.

Just when the guitar solos start to become boring they become robotic.

This is an impromptus I played short after a cold caller tried to inflict her script upon me. In the instrumental breaks from the second part I see the hand of many of the 'tough' groups I enjoy; to name only one, Faith No More ('Jizzlover'?)

Little to add to the song itself. Plausible influences are Ella Fizgerald's 'Stone Cold Dead in the Market' (which I like), and Paul Mc Cartney's 'Hope of Deliverance' (which I don't)...
