I must admit
I love fallen in love with you
It's not the easiest thing
but, what's a gal to do
I've been so good
I might even be a southern baptist
I must admit
I love fallen in love with you
I don't care that I'm just in the air

The imagery created in just 1 1/2 min is amazing. I am picturing an old house in the south, a big willow tree its dusk and a woman on the steps of the porch singing.
More roars... What a voice you have Mrs Smith.
Many years ago I knew someone who could do this kinda thing. Me and my drummwer used to sit at the foot of her mic stand at her gigs, she sat at the foot of my mic stand at ours ... we only spoke to each other once, just to say "hi" lol
Bonding with a new guitar
Bittersweet is not just for chocolate
If you put any more change in my pocket
I'd sink in a bathtub
Since I've been gone
You've moved on
Everything's different
but the feelings remain
yet another sign of change

Love it. It was one of my favourite songs when I was little.
This is a gorgeous version - I was expecting a more "wailing" version, which is what I'm used to... so this was a surprise. It's superb.

Another festive cover, this was recorded in December 2010.
Written by Jem Finer and Shane MacGowan.
(Please let me know if there is a copyright issue here and I will happily remove the track. Thanks.)
Unfortunately I'm going through a rough family time, My Grandma who is more like a mom has been dying of cancer the past few months and has really been going down hill as of late, so this album of Porch Recordins is all based on me staying with them during this time period, and In my alone time-night time I write and record on the porch where I've set up my gear. So that's the story of the blues.
:) Hey, I told ya, I'm good on a challenge.
It just kind of came to me, like the 12 days of Xmas but backwards so it makes more sense at the end, I dunno My mind has a mind of it's own. and Thanks again
This was the original version I recorded before I completely overhauled it (see version on "It takes a village album ). I wasnt crazy about it but hell I put time into it and completed it so why not post it up.
Collaboration with my sister. Figured I should put it in. Have you ever felt like you were bad news for those that dated you? Well this song is about that feeling. (All songs are a work in progress)
Another one of my lil ditties that I started writing at the bowling alley. First game I bowled a 204 the rest of the evenin the games were less exciting. Get me high, then strike a blow

Ha ha! Fabulous lyrics! Rock on!
This is a great cover of this classic tune. I dig your approach and energy -- especially in the vocal delivery. Rock on!
Nice version. And I love the vocals at the end.
Like it. It's good when songs start up when you're not actually "trying to write a song".

James beat me to it with the "mid range" comment on the new guitar. Loved that roar from you :)
