Says the sun is going to shine but does he really know?

If I believed that the sun would shine

Weather man can talk about a sunny park
But you call all the weather breaking in my heart
If I thot that the sun would shine
I’d dump my umbrella and I’d feel so fine
But if you say that the clouds will stay
I’ll button my coat and I’ll go away
Thank you, Clarice…Well, the forecast is a
murky one today. I checked the barometer for
air pressure, the hydrometer for moisture, the
anemometer for wind speed. I even checked
a cyclometer, thermometer, urinometer, rain
guage weather vane sundial and my Aunt
Nelda’s wind sock, and I’ve got nothing.
If I thot that the sun would shine
I would dump my umbrella and I’d feel so fine
But if you say that the clouds will stay
I’ll button my coat and I’ll go away
“Don’t go. Don’t go.”
