This is a song I sang at the Hanfasting of Pam and Dave at Tupholme Abbey, Lincolnshire on 2nd July 2011. I was honoured to be asked to be the celebrant. The video shows photo footage.

erm, well, a bit of a sloppy woppy, luvvy duvvy luv thong. Actually, more like a sad song...poor fella, not me, just 3rd party empathy, or something. You know how it is, have an idea for a song, and stick it into the computer to make it real…

In the year 2000 I had my little girl visit me every other weekend. This song was written then and is sung from a child's needs perspective, keeping the bonds of love between daughter and father alive. It is sad, and hopeful, and explores the…

Yes folks, another daft song. Don't take it too seriously eh? Just a Lancashire lad having an expressional moan! lol. "One day my princess will come!", and all that gubbins.
Began with the drum beat, added some guitar sounds, messed about with Revitar 2 and put them on top of the drums, did some experimenting with the lyrics, I looked up all the strains of weed and made a list of their names and made the song out…
drip by drip..
I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.
The trumpet and violin bits are played…
This song is not for everyone but I like it because its a live recording with a single instrument using infinity delay FX. (I turned on the loop delay at :09 after the guitar was flat on the floor.)
All the sounds are made with an acoustic bass…
Norm played the percussion first, which is a Bembe pattern; I couldnt help playing a melody and creating lyrics for this perc track. Thanks for the listen, Enjoy!
I have issues at my house, sometimes they manifest themselves in my tracks. In this case, the bassoon and oboe represent the mouse. The guitar is the peanut-butter.
I thought it was called Rairoad? It reminds me of a time when I sat with a group of Hell's Angels in a pub in Lancashire - one old guy offered me some snuff - s'nuff said. Cool song though, and nicely played, man!
