Ditty #10 for RPMC. I really had a hard time trying to come up with the final track, so I fell back on the old loop/delay/ebow improv formula, which I had hoped to avoid on this album. Kind of acoustic Breaking Light. Well it crossed the finish…

Ditty #9 for the RPMC album "Bones".
I'd had this rolling around in my head for about a year now, and even played it live with the SD&Q trio. Didn't quite turn out as planned, which is not unusual.

Song #2 for the RPMC. My goal is to have 12 short tunes (1-3 minutes long), so I need to pick up the pace.
Again, quartal tuning on the top 3 unison pairs of the 12 string. I've been listening to Ralph Towner's Blue Sun, hence the title.

Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
This track is the result of putting Kavin's excellent track [Propitiation](http://alonetone.com/kavin/tracks/propitiation) through my Steve Reich style phased looper.
It's a beautiful piece but also quite a sparse sound which lead me to think…
Great Texas Blues song.I like the fact that a classic blues tune like this was written right here in East Texas. These songs are truly part of the history of this area, trains still run the tracks, but not nearly as important nowadays to the people…
A remix. I originally mixed this using laptop speakers because I was away from home. Took the drums down and brought the ipod sounds up. Thinking of doing an album of this stuff for RPM. Thanks for yer comments!
This is a rough mix of a song I have been working on. It needs the vocal re doing when I get rid of my cold and there is still a verse or two to write. the final mix is now up on site. called REPO MAN (final mix) check it out
Repo man knocking…
Another loop - not recorded that well and don't have the time to do much with it, but here it is none the less. The title more or less is a reflection on my life at the moment. Using the same junk I always do...
All guitars by my good friend Chris Mitchell. I had a chance to record this while I was in Dallas this past Summer. This is a companion piece to my song Secrets from the "Of Sound Mind" album, my RPM 2009 entry.
This is really a true story.
No, really...
And our holiday gift to you & your friends. (Feel free to download it and share it with anyone who you think might enjoy it.)
Oh... by the way... acl is finally waking from a very deep slumber…
"santa" and her elves used to live across the street, thankfully gone now, they must have moved to Fla! I would like some zztop tapes for Christmas....

This track is off of the third CD. This is an improv recorded one afternoon in my basement recording studio. Recorded with my Huss and Dalton MJC in standard tuning.

Beautiful. One of your best.
Ah a song about my 2nd favorite hobby (besides music), much to my wife's chagrin ;-}

This is very cool.
Lovely. Great start for the new year.
@ dougsparling, apps used: Tongue Drum, Ellatron lite (mellatron), Bebot (theremin sound). I think all were free except bebot.
Nice to see your return to this form, Doug. Love it.
Merry Christmas to Sudara and all my friends here at alonetone. Peace be unto you and all your loved ones.
Very nice. Makes me wanna get my @ss in gear and get serious about writing lyrics again.
I'm always a sucker for pretty intertwining guitar lines!

"grinch's up a face"...love it!
Great tunes!
At first I thought "are you kidding?" then there was the suspense of waiting for something else to happen...
Great performance and sound.
Yeah! This sounds like it could have been on Clapton's first solo album.
Nice playing. Inspiring!
