Another oldie but goodie (again, apologies for the few seconds of silence it takes to get to the intro). This song is the first that I really tried to record properly, written around Christmastime four or five years ago with my seventh grade…

Again, apologies for the silence before this song gets going as well as for the inconsistent vocals... I hope the message overrides any lack of ability with respect to the song's execution.
The first recorded version of this song, this little folk song was originally written fifteen or so years ago with just the four chord rhythm guitar and single vocal. The song became what it is today when I needed to write additional verses for…

Recorded a while ago when I really didn't have any idea what I was doing... Even so, the talent of the kid in the duet comes through. Apologies for the opening seven seconds of silence (hmmm... I may need to name my next album that).
After listening to Brian's beautiful guitar piece "Mellow," Brian was kind enough to allow me to sing along...
Never saw you coming
Down my lonely road
I never saw you coming
Can't be sure you'll never go
I know you'll be leaving
But I keep believing…
My wife woke up one morning and said "I had a dream about (someone we'd just lost) the other night." When I asked her if she was okay, she replied, "Yeah, it was good to see her again."
wow, you have so many songs!
Thank you so much for you warm comments on my songs, I realy appreciated!
I like your "life" songs. And don't you worry about you vocals ( as you do in amy pond) it's about your emotion! And that strikes in the heart.
I will listen to you more often.
Wit a smile,
Inge

From one Doctor Who nerd to another, I've been thinking of writing something like this for some time. You beat me to it! But what about Rose Tyler? Did that end when David Tennant left the show? Great song. Will be back to listen to more.

A song written for a great girl who'll be getting married next year...
"You'll always be this young if love comes first
And you stay filled with life."
I'm glad you like this one so much, Tess. I actually wrote it for a friend of mine (a terrific girl) who'll be getting married next summer. I only see her once a year at her brother-in-law's Labor Day weekend party, and when I heard she was engaged, this song just came out... The sentiment could apply to any young girl, however... "You'll always be this young if love comes first and you stay filled with life."
A good friend of mine Harris Kidd filmed a short piece of work starring my other great friend (and my drummer) Zay Brignall, anywaaays he asked if I could make a soundtrack for it soooo I sat down and watched it over and over and started plunking…
Believe it or not, this song was written while swimming laps in the high school pool (I had to have the life-guard kid write down lines for me every time I returned from the deep end). Oddly enough, the first line I came up with was "Swimming…
Wellll it's not really a mystery, it's a little Beatles remixing!! I've basically just mashed together Octopus's Garden and All My Lovin'.
Hope you like it!
toooons of fun makin it :)
After writing this song about our newly adopted dog, I asked Kavin if he like to play some slide guitar, knowing that he would come up with something terrific... I just had no idea how terrific.

Thanks to everyone for so many positive comments about this song (and thank you again to Kavin for making it sound so good). So many great dogs out there and we were just lucky enough to adopt one of the best.
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
Licensed for my new "Forever" CD by HFA this song is from "Prince of Persia". It's a song about having faith that all troubling things will turn out allright. All you have to do is believe it will.

This is a song that started as just an idea I had playing live one lovely thursday evening and I just started playing this progression and sang some gibberish over it and I came up with the "chorus" part and and the Idea of asking questions in…
If you think this one's great, you need to go over and listen to Corbin's "One Step at a Time." It will get stuck in your head... And you'll be glad it did.
This is a piece Norm and I collaborated on last year. We hope you will enjoy it.
two improvised 12 string guitar lines
bass line ( I took a few takes)
improvised piano
Norm's percussion in Tumbao rhythm
When I wrote this it was a cold cloudy and dark winter night here in vancouver but I was sitting in my room and was just in a sunny state of mind. I then picked up my Uke and started fiddlin around searching for a breezy chord progression, then…
Comments on Keith Landry's stuff
Most enjoyable song, Keith and Love the lyrics.
Lovely songwriting!
very nicely done, thanks for putting the lyrics down R
Haha, I read that as 'Pass on Love', as in 'Love? I'll pass.' Anyway! Lovely song, affectionately performed, as ever, Mr L!

Great sound! Very well done.
Very cool.
Just going through February's RPM Challenge songs... Upped the volume on the vocals a bit (hopefully not too much).
Very cool. I wish I was brave enough to try to cover music from the gods... You handle it beautifully!

Great song in every way!
Wow... Soooooooo good.
Wow... What a voice.
Big thanks to Kavin for making this song more than I could have possibly imagined with his incredible slide guitar.
Very nice. So great to find another great artist to follow!
Great track... I'd love to see the movie that goes with this soundtrack!

Very nice... Will there be any words to go with this in time? Although it is great just asit is.
Magnificent track!
Man, Kavin... This is just great stuff... Playing my way through some of your tunes and enjoying them all!
