I recorded this one to a dimming flashlight on the 25th after a windstorm took out my power. I couldn't see the lyrics anymore so I ad libbed and hummed the rest out. My recording device is battery operated, which is cool.

Now thats awesome. Hats off man to being able to pull this off in that situation (and a damn fine job too). Great track dude. The vocal melody is great too. And of course anything with the word "Darkness" in it I love!! Nice work. I love the laugh too. It really works and the humming is great too. It adds character to the song and Im glad you did it. It shows that you are a true artist and is able to adapt to any situation. BRAVO!!!

The vodka, ahhh. One of 3 that I recorded to a dimming flashlight during a power outage.
One take into the Micro BR hole with some harmony and noodle overdubs.
Vodka
I want the vodka
'Cause I know it's gonna make me play better…

Welp... I didn't do a feckin' thing all weekend. No laundry, no nuthin'. So I figured I'd beat the living hell out of my Ibanez in order to make up for it.
A juvenile song at best, but I feel better now :)
One take in the MBR hole... I'll…
A Halloween collab we did last fall that I thought was pretty cool. Designed to scare old ladies and make babies cry :) I love the way the song peters off in the end.
All tracks recorded with the Boss Micro BR, mixed with Audacity and mastered…
LOL about your dad n' uncle. It was actually some homeless lady screaming nonsensicals. No power huh? That shit sux. It happened to us last week. A transformer blew out. Thanks for letting me take you back down memory lane to the times of fun and irresponsibility.
This song fuckin' rocks man!!!

Yes - I love it! The strum is very addictive, and the light percussion works very well. Excellent vox, but could be a little higher in the mix, though.

2010 RPM Challenge
This is the song that helped start my acoustic journey!
My humble acoustic version:

You rock, bro!
Mark
After I read into RPM and understood that anybody could take the challenge, I joined up. I'm starting with a clean slate, so I hope I can finish! This a WIP of the first tune I'm working on. Everything I do will be recorded/produced with the Boss…
Ha, that's funny Bethan - I just finished reading "Down and out in Paris and London" and thought "Instead of meeting up with an old friend, how about an old flame?"
Lyrics I have so far:
Been traveling my crooked way
My feelings like
An unleashed dog on the run
I've roamed a mile in those shoes
I'm really glad
Those sidewalkin' days are done
When I look at you
The peace flag flies
And I want to call you the one
But those eyes are devious, girl
You remember when
We had our days in the sun
By no means the first song that popped out. It's just the first one I'm calling done beyond a remix. I think this will wind up leading in to a metal tune and will likely be shorter.
This is the first tune for my 2010 RPM Challenge.
A bit short...my first attempt earlier in the evening (completely different tune) I ended up scrapping at 1:30 a.m., so this one was done in just a few minutes...

That was some profound stuff bro . . this track moved me. . . rpm made you grow musically. You didn't fail at all.
Shame about the power outage screwing you over with RPM, but this track is awesome. Your battery-operated recording came out really warm and nice.
Baby Green Ernie must have left his green impression on you. Keep it green BUD! haha.
Great track mate and thanks for your recent comment

Yeah, I do the same thing with vox - It's a job to "hide" them a little, but bring them out at the same time. Really cool tune.
Another listen - Really enjoyed this one!

This is working out great - A metal tune connected with this vibe will be killer.
Yes - I love it!
This was a tease! I really loved the groove you had going... And then... Cool!
I feel the intensity - And it gets stronger as the song progresses. Really cool.
I'm thinking more Pixies meet Smashing Pumpkins, but I could be wrong! Cool tune.
Mechanically organic! I could set this one on repeat for a while. Super cool!
I feel it!
Yes - I love it.
