Really rough demo of something I'm sketching out--the vocals were recorded with voice memo on the built in mic on my phone.

Recorded and mixed (very quickly and sloppily) on the evening of 4/28/2023 for the “30 Day Songs” project. Everything was recorded on one take. The guitar is out of time at some places, vocals are pitchy and terrible. I wanted so much for this…
No apologies—that was awesome. Nailed the middle 8. Got the St. Denis lyric (I always wondered whether it was intelligible or not). The slower tempo evokes the heartache better than the original, and sweet baby Jesus was that falsetto great. The one take approach makes it immediate, like a text message, which is kinda what the song was built off. I’m touched. Thanks for a much-needed cheer-up.
The finished product! Oldest daughter shines!
We don't always see eye to eye
And there are some days I don't know how we get by
We spend so much time caught in the race
Gotta slow down the pace
When did the river get so wide
All I thought…
Everyday (Rock Remix)
“Everyday” written and recorded February 2021 for the 2021 RPM Challenge.
Re-recorded vocals and remixed December 2021.
Wilson Ng - Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards.
Brian Wood - Vocals, Guitars.
Andy Samford - Guitars…
Bringing back a song from 2011 with a new twist. The song now has drums, bass, and an orchestral backend. This is hopefully part of a larger collection of me reworking older songs with orchestration.
Many thanks to Brian of A Beautiful Scene…
Brian wrote a song.
Wilsun covered it.
Wilsun gave me his Garageband file.
I teamed up with a robot orchestra and we made this.
Hopefully Brian and Wilsun will like it.

Matt Ferrara doesn't get enough love around here. He's a brilliant arranger and lyricist and it's rare, if ever, that someone covers one of his songs. So I set out to correct that. As usual, it's faster than the original because, well, it's…
A blended cover of two separate Angie Fights Crime songs, joining the compilation group with my good friends from the #RPM Challenge. Recorded in 2016, I thought I would add it to the two other cover tracks in this profile from last year during…
Cover of one of my favourite RPMers. Tried to just make it different and have fun with it. This was definitely one of the stand out tunes this year. Didn't even want to touch it as a cover but I could not help myself. Hope Wilsun likes it…
Here is a cover of Matt Ferrara's song "Obey" - Had this song stuck in my head for a good chunk of February, so I figured I would put it to tape. A little slower than the original with a similar feel.
I really wanted to see if I could record…
Well, this song showed up right at the end of the recording session, and it reminded me of why I do this - and it was just what I needed.
THANKS FOR COMING
I agreed to meet
I smile and take a seat
To hear you say how I could be a star…
This is my favorite track on the album, for a couple reasons. One, I know it wasn’t “planned.” I like that. I like imagining you channeling it. Two, the guitars. That nylon-stringed guitar adds a lovely texture. Three, your voice is superb on this. Perfect album closer. This album is certainly one to be proud of, my friend. Looking forward to seeing you in Portsmouth.
Of all the souvenirs, photos, baseball memorabilia, and musical instruments in my study, the item I value the most is one small 3x5 of my sister and me.
3x5 OF ME AND YOU
I sit with my belongings around me on the shelf
Pictures of my heroes…
The last of the original 29 Navajo Code Talkers died not long ago. Go look them up if you don't know the story. These were some of the finest men to ever serve.
CODE TALKER
Boys were dying across the ocean
Words were stolen, and codes…
This one, too. I listened to the album over at RPM but came over here to seek out my favorites so I could comment on the individuals. This guitar work is my favorite, both the tone and how it complements the vocal line.

Wow, I’m honored and really love the Cure vibes you brought into the outro!
When one of my favorites covers another one of my favorites
Love the song and this version!
Blended covers are the best! Wow. You picked two good AFC tunes, too.
Definitely not “mangled.” Far from it! Love how I can hear both your style and Wilsun’s
A cover of an awesome song by an awesome artist?! It’s like how ligers are part lion part tiger and still 100% awesome
Love this!
Damn straight I like it! This is amazing! I love the feel of it slower and the piano is stunning.
