Going through the various things I had kicking around before the RPM Challenge and before I upgraded to Live 8, I found this unfinished Live 7 thing...
Frenetic fun.
Boring technical details:
I honestly can't remember much about it which to…
Alternate title: Gratuitous Love Scene
Just hacking around with these chords; added some stuff and before I knew it I had one of those bits of cheesy music that accompanies those gratuitous sex scenes...
Helplessly
But then sometimes in the colorless light of a hazy windy moonlit night, the feeling haunts you like you've known that you would always be alone.
But then sometimes in the sparkling sun, you think of things you should have done…

This track started as a sharp tin can hit which I turned into a droning gong. But I had no idea where to go next.
So I started rifling through…
Like CS said, VERY COOL. And I don't have a clue what you're talking about in your description (probably cause I'm old and unhip).
Inspired me to make some odd guitar noises too.
I swore that I would NEVER upload this. Was having a bad day trying to loop "nice" acoustic guitar sounds and got frustrated so grabbed my Taylor and plugged it into a cheesy Effects box and straight into the looper. Started twiddling knobs and…

Ok, I have decided to put it here. It is a stretch containing several ideas, it falls apart here and there (especially at 3:10), but I think the atmosphere shines through.
Hope I can return to it in a couple of weeks (when my head is clear…
I happened to be in MD one summer when the 17 year cicadas came out to make their noise. Walking around I felt I was on the set of an old sci-fi flick set on an alien planet.
This brought me back.

Watch me blow it now.
Fire on the lookout,

Lovely and ploppy!
I don't know what you've captured here, but it's out of this world powerful, emotive, and it digs deep. Wish I could fave it again.
This has a really good thud to it! Great synth sounds.
Okay, I'm inspired!
Wow, love the space in this and that meaty synth!
Very gratuitous, perfect.
Gives me images of someone gracefully falling up a very long flight or stairs.
Great forboding energy...another powerful track. You capture human insecurities and put them to cool beats.

I love the way you captured that 80s guitar/bass sound that I loved so much in early Cure/Joy Division/New Order. Makes me swoon.
