HEAR MY FINAL SONG
Most were drinkin', four were playin' cards
Two were dancin', one he played guitar
He was singin' how she broke his heart
Some were smokin', smoke rings filled the air
One was flirtin', playin' with her hair

Psychedelic Folk. Ever meet that special someone in a laundromat? Ever do it on top the dryer? Either way, you’re sure to dig this clean groove. Compilation by Stephen L. Krell and Gene Eric Mann.

I got the speakers turned all the way up Gene!
We've been through a lot. Remember all the song writing challenges at EZFolk? I never thought I would have so many friends that I will never meet in person.
Your last song is something to be proud of. I was taken by the lyrics bouncing between acceptance and denial. Steve mentioned the chord changes. Mark talked about the weight of the message.
We were honored that you asked us for a little help.

Greg, Steve, Mark:
I am so touched, so moved. This final mix down brought a tear to my eye and a chill to my bone. Y'all handle this song with great care and delicacy and made a marvelous bit of music. I'm right proud of all of you and my friendship with you. I'm very lucky to have had this chance to make this beautiful song with such beautiful souls with what days I've been graced with. Thank you all so very much!

A Sea Shanty with a bit of Psychedelic seasoning. Guest artist Starry Nightmoth performs the “harmonica” on a Yamaha KB as the song fades out.
37 SAILS
Thirty-seven sails be a full rigged ship
Open up ye hatch and pour ye spirit down…
A fun little Blues jam. The BG rhythm/drums were generated with the Yamaha E313 KB. All other noises are my fault.

If someone can do some Bodhran drum in the final mix it would add a lot. Rick's songs always had the beat and place for one in them. Great job Greg. Great lyrics Mr. Mann
This is the bonus track for "The Best of GEM" playlist.
APATHY AND GREED
Apathy and greed is in the human seed

Sweet job, Captain Gene! You picked this one with some heart, for sure. It's a bitter-sweet Blues movement. A good, clean mix down. Broad and roomy -- great panning work!
I dig how everything connects, how it flows, evolves. Sweet picking on the guitar! Superb mixing/mastering! A lot of flavors, a;; of them tasty. It kept my attention through the end -- 5 STARS!
Keyboards (bagpipes) performed by Starry Nightmoth. Lead guitar by George Harrison. Vocals and all other instruments performed by Gene Eric Mann. Thunder and rain by Mother Nature. Lyrics by John Lennon.
This is my first upload. I mostly have a vocal here. It's a song that I'd love to get some collaboration on from the guitarists in the community. Let me know what you think?
I wish I still had the energy and strength to slap some bass on this for you, but I'm feeling so well these days, but I hear a great run in my head. Anyway, I dig the lyrics and love the vocals. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you so I've clicked to follow you. Keep it sweet!
Another Psychedelic Folk song from the Lore of Spring collection of my four MYTHOPOETICA demos. One of my earlier recordings, there are sound quality issues. Drums are via the Yamaha E313 KB.

Goddess Earth, I’ve come…
Have a problem with TV evangelists? You won’t have a problem with this number! This Psych Folk tune features Starry Nightmoth on church organ. The rhythm/drum track was generated using a Yamaha E313 KB, the rest is my fault.
COME UNTO ME…
You've been a choice talent ever since I first stumbled upon you, but it seems you've stepped up to another level, both in composition and in mixing and mastering. I'm impressed -- blown away in fact. Definitely looking forward to hearing more of this polished, inventive, juicy, tasty degree of Rockism!
First sounds from a deconstructed reconstructed guitar I started about a year ago. It was a Steinberger copy that I wanted to make fretless. That led to decided to strip it of all paint, electronics and rebuild as the parts and it were old…
Here's a juicy, sweet number. Could be a background track for a futuristic spy flick. Love the energy and inventiveness, the scale, and that badass bass! I love the direction you're going with you music, and you really have a handle on mix down and mastering now. Oh, the harmonica break? Nice touch. You're very talented and you tickle me. Brilliant -- ROCK ON!
Have always dug your picking, energy, creativity. THIS, albeit a far too brief of a fabulous track, is a sweet example of what I mean about FDR numbers -- ROCK ON!

Thanks, Gene. It's been a pleasure accompanying and listening to your music! I'll always treasure our exchanges.
*AND NOW THAT I'M LOGGED IN* . . . . . It looks like I have accidently added a little humor as well.

Y'all did a great job of mixing here!
You are never a disappointment!
This was a real fun listen -- it's a great groove. Y'all got it together. I hope we'll be allowed to hear all of it soon.
Choice grooves! Would love to hear your sound recorded as a mix-down of multi-trax through something like Cool Edit Pro.
Dig those bass lines!

Digging the ambience of this one, and its "outside the box" delivery.
