You've got a knack for producing catchy tunes. You've got your own formulae, and it works. This one is a prime example of what I'm talking about -- you've got the gift!
I need more of this in my life... ever heard of a modern day band called " you me and everyone we know"? They March to their own drum while saying a lil something worth hearing in a popularish format so the message slips right inside :D. Yeah... I dig!
Shucks, thank you so much. It is humbling to hear this. The music industry at large makes my blood curdle, so I've hardly ever tried to push past the boundaries of my friends and family with my solo music. I know I'm out of step with the sound of the times. If this were 1967, I may have had a chance to at least get a label to talk to me, now, I'd run from any person who said they were from a label hahaha. Boy, things have changed. In any case, it's heartnening to know that my music is being heard and appreciated outside of my close friends. Thank you so much for the encouragement!
As requested, here are the lyrics.
On the night stand is a clock
counting down the waning hours
'til the fiery fingers of the dawn come crawling through
Burning eyes in morning sun
the engine turns more slowly now
driving down a silent…
What a fabulous blend of sounds. Great songwriting skills. Really professional job. I remember when radio was about this, the singer-songwriter genre, before hip hop and rap ran all the musicians and vocalists off the air.

Your development as a composer is stunning since a year ago when I checked your last RPM record out. I owe you a proper review of this record, which I will follow-through on soon. All that aside, this track is so pretty... really great all around. Good job!
Simply gorgeous stuff here. I'm only scratching the surface, but I'm already scrambling to assemble a list of people that should really be listening to your music. Tasty!

That ELO comment was supposed to go here.
ELO all over the place.
Love the blend of voices. Very Beatlesque.
