They tore down the theater, now there's nothing to do on those summer days, well anyways...Who cares?
We all drink black coffee, and we smoke and we talk about poetry, philosophy and fear...as days fly by another wasted year.
I finally left…
Great recreation of early 60's pop sounds, very cool. The only thing that really gives it away is the vocal harmony, not sure why. Maybe it would have been doubled or something, or buried further in the mix.
Reminds me of some Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd -- back when the were The Pink Floyd and released not LPs but rather 45s like See Emily Play. Very groovy, cool, far out sounds. Thanks for reflecting this juicy era of music!
She wakes across the ocean, and sighs when she discovers...the man who's sleeping with her looks like her last two lovers. No one wants to be a banana head.
Another number that reminds me of The Outsiders and The Youngbloods and other bands and songs of the Psychedelic '60s and the reign of the hippies over the music industry in that era. Solid GOLD, man!
Only the 2nd time in my 54 years on the planet that I've heard a song sung from the perspective of one who died in a car crash, so while I can't say it hasn't been done before, it's still rather rare. What I can say is that this one is by far the superior of the two. Great job -- lyrically, vocally, and musically!
I’m on AloneTone as Gene Eric Mann (generic man), Justin Otter Guy (just another guy), Merry Bear, and Nightmoth. I really appreciate that you listened to ALL my Nightmoth recordings – those old children songs are particular horrid numbers, recorded before I knew much about what I was doing. Anyway, I’m here to return as much of the time and ear you lent to me as I can and play your 13 gems.
I already dig “Breakfast” and “Boyfriend” so I’m sure I’ll get a kick from the rest. Your style turns me on and tickles my fancy. Thanks for the listen and always, always, ROCK ON!
Inspired by a large stone I saw in the Ortspark in Munich, which somebody had carefully engraved with the name Mabel.
No loops used this time, all virtual instruments played by me. Cymbal, guitar, acoustic guitar, violin.
I dreamed i was walking along and came upon this gang of five year old girls.seems i was messing with their program just by being there.I woke up and recorded this tune-first guitar then bass then drums and then convinced sexbott5000 to do vocals…

My heart goes out to all those people who lost loved ones in the fire last night that played out the terrible scenes on the TV this morning. I watched with my mouth open at the horror of it all and wished i was dreaming......
Unique! This is a FUN SONG! I like that it's got the Brett Warren feel, but it's very sharp and almost upbeat. I recommend it to anyone visiting this page!
You me and infinity
Time slows down and then we see
Hands of God and synecdoche
No ground
Rendezvous and longing stares
Apocalyptic, no more pairs
Epileptic swirling flares

Cyborgs conquer the planet, crushing resistance and enslaving the human race. The cello represents the people who ignore the destruction and carry on as normal, like the orchestra playing on the deck of the Titanic as it went down.

Back for another listen... love it :-)
Love the retro vibe of this - quite "Byrds-y", great vocal harmonies. Thanks for the kind words on Slapshot, by the way :-)
Ah the worst kind of ending…but so beautifully weaved. Love your style.
Lovely stuff... reminds me of The Kinks :-)
love the guitar tone on this...great track...takes me back to a more innocent time ...which is a good thing...
Ah Boston! I've been there! Anyway, this is a quirky little ditty. Cute!
Instant sunshine!
Nicely done.

I dig how y'all blended, mixed down and mastered the vocal tracks -- fabulous job!
A wee bit of Hawaiian spice sprinkled upon this one -- tasty. Y'all blend superbly, vocally. Loving that Youngbloods-like guitar effect. Beautiful!
Y'all did an amazing, fabulous, exceptional job with this number. Excellent! ROCK ON!

Dig that guitar! Nice effect, sweet picking. Groovy, colorful sounds all around.

Things that go together: lava lamp, tie-dyed shirt, incense smoke, headphones, and music by The Proods!
The folks under 40 between 1964 and 1970 would have ate this song up! A brilliant composition and a delicious production!
