Starting off sounding much different, this has undergone considerable transformation in Audacity to reach the form in which you hear it now. Drone from a window a/c unit and more jackhammering from the other side of our building.

This piece is somewhat programmatic, somewhat expressive. I wanted to tell a story of moving from a dark place of drudgery and powerlessness to finding courage, strength, purpose, and joy. Created for the Record Every Month challenge for July&hellip;
