By the time this whole mess comes to a head, I'll be dead and buried.

The reasons behind all this are varied, but the solution seems obvious to me.

My take on what might happen in the not-so-distant future.

This song was written about the state of my marriage some time ago, but I think it applies very nicely to the current state of affairs.
