She's smelling the last rose of summer
The stem stands high in her hand
Looking at its colour
Can this really be the day, summer ends…
Volcano was one of the first tracks that the Proods uploaded to Alonetone, it was fun because it features the Prood gals who aren't always available to jam.
This is hypnotic..diggin' the chord progression. Can't figure out why my new track wouldn't play for you. I've had several complaints of that. Not sure what's going on.My email is on my profile page I can always send it. Peace !

I have issues at my house, sometimes they manifest themselves in my tracks. In this case, the bassoon and oboe represent the mouse. The guitar is the peanut-butter.
That bassoon and oboe is so catchy I'll bet the mouse got caught . Yeah the guitar is smooth not chunky style the way I prefer it. Really loose and yet cohesive at the same time. A big thumbs up !
Here is my contribution to the latest song writing challenge offered by the Minnesota Songwriters.

Backwards piano loop disappearing in a hazy sea of reverb.

Don't go to the streets
Where they put you to the ground
Where they put you to the wall
And they steal your broken heart
Don't go to the streets
Where they say that it's ok
Where they've seen it all before
And they put you to the wall
The hand…
My nephew Spencer or (SZC) as he goes by wrote this song entirely as we were talking about the sad news of Robin Williams passing in a conversation last year and how it felt. So he asked me to do the vocals and guitar.. He will be joining alonetone…

Steve Krell (SLKrell) and I have been feuding over the same girlfriend for a while now. In fact, there are several songs about her on Alonetone. Here is the latest in the story:
SLKrell says it’s a drag
Rosie made him pack his bag
