RPM17

First song on RPM 17....eh first song on RPM ever lol
Really glad I made this one.
I had to dig up an old VHS tape (anyone remember those?) for the audio sample in this track.
The hardest part about making this tune was actually…
Damn! Feels good to hit the Upload button again!
Completed RPM 17. this is the last track!!. the album is my first run through with logic pro ( dumping pro tools and the monthly subscription fee)
I feel great playing again.. been so long…

Brilliant album - hugely enjoyed this as the sun came up today. It sounds sun-infused, musically robust and witty, cheeky... Well done on your first (awesome) RPM album!
Maybe this should have been called feb 28th lol
Who dosnt need a little more time for RPM?
Clearly I was running out of ideas for lyrics, So naturally, I asked Bob Dylan to help out
"I think I need a little more time". Love February, right? But this is sounding really polished. Love your spoken voice too. Late night radio swagger over smooth guitar infused dreaminess - I mean the whole album. Haha! Dylan?! This is bonkers. Great, but bonkers.

This one was recorded on the 16th February 2011 at Pat Molloys (o'Neills) in Colchester. Featuring Stuart Tizzard on Slide and Vocals, lovely example of a laid back country blues, one of my favourites from the set I think
great tune, great blues, great delivery. I wish the recording had less clipping on the bass or perhaps a limiter-but wait, its likely just my broke-ass computer speakers...:)
Performed on Fender Mustang, Casio CZ-101 (keys, bass, percussion), vocal. Recorded via overdubbing on two cassette decks with 4 mono input radio shack mixer with radio shack 10 band graphic equalizer. Written in the years of Ronald Reagen's…
Well, you are not going to often hear a 70′s metal piece from me. I have to plead affection for genre as it is what I grew up with in my garage band days. In this piece I put to use my stratocaster copy strung up with “Not Even Slinky…
I watched a few episodes of Metalocalypse and Dethklok inspired me to make this jam. I don't think it turned out "metal" enough though. The harmonized sweep arpeggios were the hardest to play. Hope you like it.

An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track
would fav it twice if possible. I am a sucker for acoustic guitar percs. The guitar has some unmistakable Hawaii flav. too..I might have to break out endless summer now...
Faith is assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
When Faith goes to the market, it always takes a basket.

for any one who has a friend or loved one that makes you hope for the best, and fear the worst... this song is for a friend that I have had a long dialog with(years)... he's very self destructive... you don’t care about winning the argument, you…

epic 20 min recording. Anyone who played in the 80's can see though the familiar low-fi tape contribution. Its almost, nostalgically better in a way...love the change ups at 5:20 - 6:10 etc.
HYSTERIA
poem by: T.S. Eliot (1888-1965)
As she laughed I was aware of becoming involved
in her laughter and being part of it, until her
teeth were only accidental stars with a talent
for squad-drill. I was drawn in by short gasps…

And lunatic is a lifestyle.
I'm really glad you made this one too before the tape finally turns to dust.
Not that I need another reason to enjoy jamming with you...
Cool first RPM album :)

Oh nice groove. Love this slinky bassline.
Love the carousel-esque intro.
OK, so now I'm cheek to cheek with a cowboy. I'll take it!

Ooh nice switches in feel here - cool and adventurous. Digging the last part especially.
Haha! Love RPM themed songs. And cocktail ones.
Pretty dreaminess. Love those trickling tendrils.
Is that audio from your wedding?! <3
So glad you plunged in to the RPM pool and it was such a great experience for you! Will you do it again? Loving this album opener - fab breezy feels.
Like it. Good job and nice arrangement :)
Aloha Reef, Nice! this is making me want to get out my stuff and record something.
Sort of making me drool a bit...
Whoa...
Love - indeed too long!
Very nice! Cool panning on the guitars.
