Hi Richard, Re: Hotel Cali => yes clarinet for main vocal, oboe for backing vocal - everything you hear is from Kontakt's standard sample set. Thank you for the listen and comment!

You are right on the money for Knife Edge here is a right up I found
"Knife Edge", is based on the first movement of JanáÄek’s Sinfonietta (1926) with an instrumental middle section that includes an extended quotation from the Allemande of Johann Sebastian Bach's first French Suite in D minor,
Cheers mate.
I really like the solem tones you get from your piano. And I wanted to answer your question you left on one of my pieces. I answered before on another one, but I think this site could really use a reply system. For the Hobbit piece I mainly used a sample library called Project Sam Symphobia. The other earlier orchestra pieces mainly used Garritan Personal Orchestra - but I'm trying to branch out and get a bigger more cinematic (and realistic) sound. Glad you like it.

Man....amazing take on a classic Richard. Always loaded with emotion. Per you comment on Desert Song, you would have to talk with Djork on the flute, I know a little about his set-up but he was the mastermind on the basic track format. I just added my touch to an already great track. :)

Here is another quick glimpse at ideas from my huge "Fractal Serenity" music video project, still in progress. This particular music-video is a "character study" of one of the strange plants that grows in this dream... the "Glass Orchid…
Very interesting and quite beautiful, almost a Valse like quality, i might guess you are a Chopin fan like myself,, i have been working on Chopin's Valse B min Op 69 no1,,, this shares the same dream like dance quality... Lovely
A song about being a frog.
On a leaf, on a branch, on a tree, in a field
I'm alone, like a man, but I'm small, and I'm green
I'm a frog and i am free
I live my life amphibiously
i've got 100 hundred million friends
that are just like me

This track hasnt started off sounding anything like this. I had a drum beat in my head, so I keyed it into my laptop, then edited it around and it ended up like this.
then i recorded everything, and just as i was about to save it.. EVERYTHING…
A song I wrote today. Was done fairly quickly. Slightly different from the stuff i've been doing lately.
I try to breathe
But the air has turned to dust
I try to see
But my eyes have started to rust
I scratch your name
Into the flesh covering…
I was collecting 4th of July samples and recorded a jewel. By chance, I recorded my 4 year old girl, and you can hear her thought process...wondering how the fireworks were so high in the air - perhaps the fireworks were dropping from the sky…
4 stereo guitar tracks played out one at a time.
Another late night - early morning recording.
I like to keep a positive attitude about the things that haunt me, but sometimes dreams change course unexpectedly, and the worms creep in.
Amazing the way the intro flows through my head phones from r to l and back... the guitar builds very smoothly, then about 3 into it i get your drift,, you have a real talent for making soundscapes
A love song for you.
The song is the musical rendition of a piece from my book, "PRONOIA Is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the Whole World Is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings," which can be found here:
