Here we go..Song 4 for my RPM challenge. This one was a blast to do because of its simplicity. It's a bit dark but with a hint of humour. I never thought I would need to return to nuclear allusions in a song - it isn't 1985...oh well. They…

I like this. It reminds me of a river with tributaries spilling into it.

Okay, RPM Song 3 finished. It's a weird song melodically speaking (yup, that's actually intentional lol). Oddly, it took an extremely long time to produce this one and my eyes are now very blurry. I guess this is an "urban" song (though I…

All those cool changes! Feels like an entire album in a song!

Song #2 for this year's RPM album....another one from the basement in the middle of the night. Experimenting with minimal lyrics and a lot of repetition. The song probably has something to do with how we left our home of many years last February…

Well....this one can't really count towards my RPM as I completed it just before February. Thought I'd post it just for the heck of it. Thanks to anyone who listens! It's a song inspired by listening to a lot of fun guitar riffs.

First song for my 2023 RPM challenge. As in all previous years.....just get it bloody done! Sleepless nights, hours in my basement "studio", falling behind with work....loving every moment. I wrote this first track on February 1st in the wee…

This is my second instalment for the RPM Challenge 2021. A playful use of synths as a backdrop for some reflective lyrics. I wrote the song today ....out of the blue :). Thanks to anyone who listens (especially if you make it to the end…

you asked about my synth in that song I made--- it is not analog usually I record the midi notes as well as the audio notes. - Here this Into Blue -- is great I like these words that are matching the song sounds,.. so lost in the way of thought and time.

Song #3 for the RPM Challenge 2021. A reflection on being an amateur musician and loving it. Thanks for listening. Onward!!!

that is a great beat here it reminds me of an early industrial song I used to listen to by front 242,.. I really like the meanings and layers of meaning... going on with these lyrics- that underbeat demands action for the denial - yeah

Song 5 for the RPM Challenge. Building tunes around an incessant bass line is oddly appealing to me. This is a bit of a dystopian song of sorts. Thanks to anyone who listens! Take me to the river and hold me under water Bow down beside…

My first entry for RPM challenge 2021. A kind of depressing love song. Thanks for listening! Got to get them done :). 9 more to go.

My 7th song for the 2022 RPM challenge. This one is a bit more pensive and slow moving. I always love adding harmony. I was thinking of Bjork (who I love) when I wrote it. I included some flute so my sister can play along next time we jam…

That combination of your vocals and the instrumentals is fascinating; your voice has a noir feel to it but then that bass line and drums that come in midway take the track in a completely different direction!
