It's All My Fault
2021 5090 Song Number 21
70-75 beats per minute is sort of my happy place. My groove’s comfort zone if you will. If I didn’t stop myself, I’d write everything at that tempo. This summer I have done a pretty good job avoiding it. So much so that the 90-110 range is turning into a new comfort zone. For this one, though, I embraced my binky.
Is it a good song? No, not really. It’s okay.
The guitar tracks are all a Gibson Les Paul Standard 50’s into a Fender Bassbreaker 15. The rhythm used a Ryra the Klone pedal and the leads used a Crybaby Wah into the Ryra then into a Wren and Cuff Super Russian.
Chorus
I did it, I know it
it’s all my fault
I made it, I played it
No second thought
Verse 1
You say you think you know
where it came from
I know the secret
so now I’m on the run
Verse 2
Now maybe this one time
you’ll listen close
I am so guilty
and yes I did it all
Bridge
Thought there was a chance
to get out of it
but there’s no escape
for me or for you or for anyone
