2021 50/90 Song Number 35.
They don’t ask how good, they just ask how many.
It’s not a total disaster, but I’m pretty disappointed with this one. If the mix sounds sloppy it’s because I more or less gave up on this one as I was working on it. The verse is okay. The chorus is okay. It just doesn’t hang well together.
I had a reason for pausing the guitar solo at the end of the song, and I am sure in the moment it was a very good reason. I just don’t remember what it was, and now I’m left with what sounds like me accidentally recording over what was other was a not-so-terrible solo. Oh well. Live and learn.
The guitar tracks are all Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s into a Vox AC15. The rhythm tracks used a Klon KTR and a Keeley D&M Drive. The leads used the KTR and a Wampler Plexi Drive Mini.
