To the Streets
The slow to mid-tempo ideas came hot and heavy toward the end this year. All the up tempo stuff was started within the first week or so. After that it was all funeral marches. I’m on the fence on whether or not I like this one. I had planned on using a uni-vibe pedal on the rhythm guitar, but I changed my mind at the last minute.
The rhythm guitar is an ES-335. The lead is a Les Paul through a cheap Joyo Ultimate Drive overdrive pedal. It’s a clone of the Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal. I had the real thing on my pedal board but I used the clone instead because I was too lazy to unpack the board. The amp is a Fender Bassbreaker.
No time like the present
No day like today
Begin the beginning
Let’s all have our say
Not time to be quiet
Not time to be still
Take it to the streets
Show our strength of will
The day we fight for justice
has come again
The day we fight for what’s right
has come again
Did you ever look at history and think
what would I have done
Look at what you’re doing today
That’s the answer.
