Improvisation using segments of the vocal track from Chris Vaisvil's piece Sweeney's Agony and sample fodder, played via midi keyboard, with live computer processing.
A solo cello improvisation with live looping, inspired by the tea clipper Cutty Sark. I was trying to achieve a kind of sea journey feel, with calm bits and rough bits.
A bit of improv done yesterday with my newly refurbished fretless guitar. Finally got the midi pickup to track almost right! Part of the sounds were gotten by rubbing a teaspoon on the strings.
in a cool darkened lounge
floors above the cityscape
quiet laughter, clink of ice in glass
D min looks into the eyes of G min
a quiet romance begins
sometimes the best things in life are quite simple
(lots of rough sound on this,, not sure…
Comments on Steve Moyes's stuff
Big noise, I like it!
Growling and full of foreboding. Feel more like hiding behind the sofa than dancing though :)
what the..? Cool
This is cool! You made the google guitar sound like its going through a *huge* stack.
Really like these tones and ambient sounds!
Fun track.
yes: there are two tones being ,, discovered here :) and the interference between neatly applies across the "board" ? Χ§¶
I can hear the rabbit hopping.
wow - you woke the dead with this! Excellent tone!
thank you for "playing" me :-)
nicely minimal!
Fantastic. Really floated away on this piece.
That seemed to just fly past... hypnotic!
That was quite a trip Steve, quite a trip :)
it sounds like mourning - sad and (relatively) quiet screams. this is awesome work Steve.
very nice dreamy piece
It's funny you're only given the options of marking as spam or deleting. This is a nice place tho, quick and clean
Impressive sounds!
I'm still trying to get my head around improvFriday but I'm definitely going to give it another try if I can listen to you playing this kind of stuff!
beautiful....

Very nice, Kirk. I really enjoyed this one! Thanks for the nice comments on my doings. Much appreciated.
Lovely piece! Pity about the crackly noises, though. I'm really enjoying your Piano Moments, Richard. Looking forward to more.
I love this one. Really unusual combination of timbres. Exciting!
I love this. Sometimes short tidbits are perfect!
Beautiflully constructed piece! I love the building tension and sudden ending.
Yes, we love you, c}{imps.
