wow Johnny, somewhere around two minutes in, this just comes together beautifully. Just gorgeous! I can imagine a harpsichord voice working well with this one.
Here's another tune from the Wild and Wacky world of Rubber.
Special thanks to Erin - The Panes for lending us her magnificent voice.
As usual, we tore it up and turned it up side down.
Thanks again Erin.

Enjoy!
An experiment with quarter tone tuning.
I tuned my guitar: low E (normal tuning)
A (quarter step up)
D (normal tuning)
G (quarter step down)
B (normal tuning)
high E (tuned D then quarter step down)
Ring of Fire - lyrics by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash -1963. Slightly modified.
This wasn't meant to be Ring of Fire but that's how it wound up.
I have been wanting to trash Ring of Fire and the words just seem to fit this simple 1-4-5…
A grungy rock choon.
I'm the piece that moves you
The part without a name
Broken piece that moves you
Torn between fault and blame
And the years go by so fast
Like shooting stars in my sky
And I gave you all of my heart
Oh baby can you stay…
Another grungy rock number.
Run through the valley
With all the kings men
You won't find the courage
To try it over again
When someone is missing
Who says something is wrong
You're not in my story
So I'll make you a song
I write a song about…
this is a remix of individual tracks posted on soundcloud for messing with.... so i made it in to "trance" Carla has a lovely voice and i tried not to destroy that
More LoopShifted piano accompanied by Stylus RMX and Omnisphere. At over eight minutes it's perhaps a little self-indulgent but maybe it's more like punting down the river Styx than jet-skiing on a lake of fire.
this was originally a song about breaking through paradigms but turned into a song about a girl.
Keys and string samples from Korg, MIDI with the old Ensoniq,
one diving board.
Thanks for the listen ,enjoy... RW
Here's to insignificance my friend. May you never be squashed like a bug.
Instruments used: Kontakt, LoopShifter, Stylus RMX
Effects used: Eos, DubStation, Replicant, Augustus Loop

Interesting piece!
Beautiful! My favourite of this collection so far...
Pipes are a lovely addition, punctuating the melody perfectly. Is that part of the original arrangement? Very lovely.

wonderful and warm.
I'd like to put a couple of these pieces on WUTZ radio 88.3 Fm here in Summertown, TN. Let me know if that's cool with you, Johnny...
I like the contrasting voices on this one -- some of the effects/voices on this album are very psychedelic!
/Dramatic!/ Johnny, this is good stuff; its really great to hear your playing! Still hoping for another collab some day. :-)
