Written by Tangmo. Additional instruments by Trevitte Brown.
A song about writing songs that isn't really about song-writing, and knows it is being written.
Written and sung by Tangmo. Arranged and performed by Phil Close. Additional guitars by Karl Cutruff.
Hey everybody, come out in the streets now
Hey everybody, let's have a good time
Bring along your cooler, there's good food to eat now…

Instrumental assists from Michael Kardos, overall arrangement by Phil Close, additional vocals from Lee Cusenbary. Envisioned as a cheesy Costa Rican Tourist Board jingle framing a love song.
Hey old friend! Glad you liked my work from this year's challenge. This song in particular has been my favorite of this album. It captures the essence of how rediculous it is for Kylie to have her own museum. I also like The Dogs Name. I wonder if my better half thinks of me in those terms once in awhile. Oh, wait, we have cats.
Welcome to the site and I'll stop by from time to time for a listen.
Regards.

This is a bonus track as it didn't make the album
For those of you who know my stuff - does this sound like it works? or is it too much like filler - the vocals are effected, there's a drum loop - the guitar is just chopped out of a jam - i…
one of those 'it was written even before i started' songs that just rolls out like magic
i tried to keep it simple so as not to destroy the vibe
first finished (if unmixed) track for RPM 2010
Again i'd love some feedback
I like the feel and the mix
do the lyrics work?
recorded t'night in an hour after trying all day to get the verse lyrics rammed into another tune
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
My attempt at being the male version of Sister Savage. I apologize in advance if you think it sucks.
As requested, the lyrics...

Well done on all these! The key change in this piece fit very well both musically and with the theme. Congrats on another sucessful RPM. I wish I could be running the victory lap with all my friends there.
Another angry song. My boss once handed me a spreadsheet about cost prices from vendors and said "I don't like the way this looks". I wondered if the upper management looked at salary costs the same way, and that led to this song.
Genuinely beatiful. Congrats on finishing the RPM challenge. I haven't been able to participate since '07, but I love to hang around there each February. Very much enjoyed this, and will keep listening.

Enjoyed your songs very much. I just might download a few so I can listen on my mp3 player, if that's okay with you. ER
Another bright and bouncy melody. And I see myself the same way. ER
Like this one, too. Bouncy beat and nice guitar work. Sing that scat!! Found myself singing along. Nice one. ER
A parent grows into his role just as a child grows up. Funny how it works that way, isn't it? Nice song about it. ER
Another enjoyable tune. I've written a song about writing a song, too. Who hasn't? Liked this one. ER
Nice tender love song. Well done. ER
Very nice live recording. Love the driving beat. ER
I like this. Bouncy melody and bright atmosphere to the song. Love the steel drums and the horns. ER
The sun's shining on the Pacific today, and this song was just perfect for the moment :)
Oooh gorgeous! Closed my eyes and drifted off to a very good place listening to this. Beautiful
This is a feel good tune for sure!

Woo! Cut to the chase!
Great song about a great place.
I always loved this one - it's such great vocal!

It works in exactly the same way that--after memorizing a Clapton version of a JJ Cale song--you finally hear JJ do it. Does that make sense?
Sweet.
Hard to write a classic. You were blessed.
If they sing good, they are good. I'll be singing 'this ain't the road and it's not the way it should go' for a while. Love that perplexity.
really too pretty. Much enjoyed.
just great.

Recession anthem. 'sBeen my theme song lately too. Thanks for the bit of catharsis.
Funky. Much enjoyed.
Sweet. Nice unexpected ending as well.
