More stuff from the ancient archives rescued from the same cassette tape as Last Nights Fun. This time a set of 3 Irish reels Live at a concert back around 1992
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
When I wrote this it was a cold cloudy and dark winter night here in vancouver but I was sitting in my room and was just in a sunny state of mind. I then picked up my Uke and started fiddlin around searching for a breezy chord progression, then…

This song is totally for the birds…
warning!!! this is a long 10+ min instrumental
It's a piece about 4 years old that was my first attempt at using synth voices,, I am still looking for a good one,, if anyone knows.
The music itself is a tone poem, loosely dedicated to a children…
I really enjoyed the listen of this album. Though I am a 'roots' americana guy myself, I love classical and probably listen to this style more than to any other. I especially love the interplay of lines which make the harmonies as opposed to chord-based pop music. Your selections very nicely fed this appreciation. Thanks for making the world a bit more beautiful, awe-inspiring and majestic.
This song was inspired by the heavy rains of the past two days, and my wife and I biding our time waiting for them to subside a bit so we could leave the house. The guitar is my old Alvarez classical with a microphone, then run through my RP350…
Hey Kids, Happy RPM. Surf's up! I played this one for my lady, she said she wants to move to California. I'm not sure if that's because I've been wired up in the Dog House for 9 days or if she wishes to try some surfing. Go figure....
Anyway…
I remember when we were young
I remember waiting for the sun
you said you loved me
you said you need me
you said you want me
and that was forever
I remember the stories of our days
I remember the tears in your eyes
you said…
I spent the day skrewing around with this Roumanian Minor scale again. I am really testing layered drums on this one, Toms mostly.
There's a lot happening. Acoustic, Strat, Bass, 4 Juno tracks, and all kinds of percussion.
Only a two chord change…
Must say I loved this album. Just the right amount of Irony, catchy as ebola, and sounds good and raw. Gotta run and bite, bite a BLT. Thanks for making this.
We have an old and senile cat with a dodgy thyroid gland who is a total pain in the bum. I know she can't help it but god she annoys me, so this song is therapy. It's a love/hate thing. Recorded as part of RPM 2010

Ahhh...now that was fun. Don't hear enough celtic music around here.
Wonderful composition beautifully delivered. I hope to catch up with more another day.
Now I can get some sleep. ;)
Wow..totally unexpected and wonderful. No one-trick pony, you. Lovely Celtci feel and superbly executed.
OMG beautiful. Emotion just drips, and well-recorded too.
Pop with soul. Great songwriting and excellent delivery. Liked the uke in here too.
It's a sad thing living with the knowledge that I shall never, ever be as cool as this is. Never, ever?!? Never, ever.

So soothing and deep with really nice harmonies.
Sweet interplay of rythms and, sounds, and melodies. Gives the ears and brain multiple trails to follow arriving at the same place.
That's some dark surf-water.
Nice, easy, and classy vibe.
My kinda dance music. Not a scale one hears every day in the new world. Nice power, good sound.
Very heavy stuff

Can't wait for the radio-edit version.
just brilliant.
Flaunt it.
Clearly inspired by James Taylor. LOL. Love those wide assed guitars.
Fun rock song. Yes, be nice to have an off switch.
