Elvis has been around Reg too long and he has started drinking to forget his new lady.........
Chug that Train

Reg threw Norms 7th son in the Cellar tonight and it wasn't long before young Johny Cash had jumped all over it.................
Daddy didn’t love his 7th son
I was born when the storm really started rising
When the ships crashed the rocks…
Hey Reg, do me a favor please....
Next time Elvis drops by, tell him that I've always been a fan and ask him if he could sing Steam-Roller Blues once for me....

This is a very evocative piece for me. Takes me back to a time when we all played a little less frenetically and let ourselves express from a different place.Enjoyed

Reg's little homage to Elizabeth Taylor who passed away today, the piano is a little dodgy and the lyrics and the singing in parts as i'm following my dodgy playing, it will have to be revisited but i thought i'd share anyway as i would forget…

Reg took a collaboration from Chris Vaisvil, Norm and threw it into the cellar last night and this is what was returned through Regs door this morning...... a tale from the old wild west.........................
Finally getting around to this.........sounds like it was narrated by Mr. Charlie Sheen himself..........of maybe his dad......out in the way-out-back of beyond where the ghosts fear to tread..............
Reg was alone so he had a few beers and had a look through his tapes this is Pt 1 of a set of tapes taken from the cellar.......Regs first night in the cellar...James Brown ...Elvis....Louis...Jim.The story begins.........
Here's my talley of who's in the cellar with the Regs Deuce:
James Brown, Henwrench, Vincent Price, Elvis, Frederico, Louie Armstrong, Bon Scott, Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison and perhaps Satan.
wrote and recorded this last Christmas...all guitars are my PRS SC Trem LTD (with rosewood neck)
keys and bass and (ahem!!! vocals) by me as well
Tis the season... so thought I would go for a repeat!!!.....Merry ho ho Christmas!!!
Out on the lawn there arose such a clatter!
Sometimes, as they say, Christmas do come early. I found Johnny Stone's "Christmas Rock In Oz" under the tree and couldn't wait until Yuletide to unwrap it. What a rockin' gift! I know a bit about…
I was passing by a darkened church this evening, as the wind danced through the trees, looking though the a window, i noticed a single candle lit, flickering on the alter step, casting a shadow within.. as i pressed an ear to the dusty glass…

You're livin' hard
And I understand
You have my word
I won't make demands
There's a feelin'
I got about you
And we'll soon find out
If the feelin's true…
Bethan Mathis recites a poem I wrote some time ago inspired by late nights working and driving home past a cemetery that always had foggy apparitions in the 4 am winter air. I am very much indebted to Bethan’s dedication to our poetry project…
Cover of the frankly mental 1968 Velvets song I Heard Her Call My Name.
It's a fairly straight cover except for two things. I wanted to bring in some of the feel of Suicide's Rocket USA, also I swapped out the lead guitar part from the original…
Song about idolising people. Mr Supercool is anyone we think deserves our idolatry - could be a him, or a her, or even oneself. Mr Supercool cares nothing for anyone. He has no love.
Anyway - glad to be back messing with music again after…
For all who are happy right now, or will later, or for ever.

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts.."
William Shakespeare…
He then got up, brushing the bread crumbs from his shirt and chin and went through the door.
He traveled through space and time to here.
only to find.
He should have been there.................
In an online course on Einstein's miracle year of 1905 we had to do a creative project and I was going to submit this but never did. Hope you think it's funny.
He pondered on his past as he sat at the piano and played ....mindful of what happened yesterday.....the melody formed in his mind then through his fingers it played out on the piano.....Bravo said the crowd of one and applauded vigorously ........
