Poor old suffering Reg; a man of broad complexities - most of which have been borrowed from others - yet a man magnanimous to forgive...just as soon as he gets revenge.
Looking forward to Part 6...

.using my old Acoustic with my Chrimbo Prezzie woody Seymore Duncan pickup on....This one started as live in the Cellar...... i've just added some backing here and there as it seemed a bit sparse so i'm still classing it as a kind off LiTC…
I heard Vaisvil's Track earlier and had a bit of time so i thought i'd add a vocal....so thanks Chris for letting me play.........

This is a song i always wanted to have a go at and it wasn't until Johnny let me have a go on his representation of it i got my chance. Thanks Johnny for letting me have a go, may you rest in peace............
Did you lock door? have you lost the key?
Laughter in the strangers eyes on a windy street
And it's not surprising Winter's always cold
Years like silent footsteps follow
Autumn leaves and blue skies fade to gray
Have you see a rainbow from…
Did you lock door? have you lost the key?
Laughter in the strangers eyes on a windy street
And it's not surprising Winter's always cold
Years like silent footsteps follow
Autumn leaves and blue skies fade to gray
Have you see a rainbow from…
When you walk away, don't talk that way
Imagine the words you say
May be your last.
And if you're angry please don't leave
Just think how near may be the end.
Why must you hold your silly grudges
and revel in your woe
You always had a talent…
Congratulations!!! Looks like we are to experience the same things this year....i may be missing too.... we are expecting our 4th anytime..... literally....so it looks like i'll be in the thick of the baby mayhem..as the RPM starts...ah well there's always next year..
Are you in touch with your past?
Do you remember before?
Are you scared of this world?
Are there locks on your door?
Is there anyone here,
who can prove that they are?
Are we anywhere near
To having too far x2
Are we anywhere near?
Are you…
Features Gary Essex on slide guitar and is but an instrumental of the full song that is Blues Blues - please check it out and love it as though it were your own...
Please note that this particular version is dedicated to the wonderfully talented…
First one for RPM 2011. This track has existed in my head to a greater or lesser extent for years but never got round to recording it. Now I have. :)
It would never have ended if it had been down to me
It would have blossomed, would have grown…
3rd one for RPM2011. This is an 'oh you'll never get to heaven' type affair inspired by a beer my mate introduced me too. The song is basically about drinking yourself to death and having one up on the healthy brigade having made a rather spectacular…
My take on Gumbo's Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album 'Cat's Moustache'. It's something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul…
I'm meeting an old Uni friend Saturday and I wrote this for her. My university years were quite possibly the darkest years of my life. Her, and the little comments she'd write in the margins of my lecture notes, were more important than she'll…

I'm finally happy with this track - v1 was too much of a nothing song and it's been bugging me all the way to the last night of the challenge.

Comments on thetworegs's stuff
Interesting stripped-down version, Reg. Great authentic vocal. You weren't holding Mr. Waits prisoner in the basement, now, were you? ;)
Loved The Start to this, bit of a shock with the poetic speech but that's new as well.
Everything about this is amazing.
Listened to this over on SC. Fabulous. Sounds like an East End Mickey Spillane.
Excellent
Laughing me arse off. Good stuff, Reg. :)

Nice Bowie tribute and choice...it hit me hard. He was such an influence to me.
not so easy to deliver a good vocal on such a wordy song, but you have managed well - free and convincing..
Thanks for your work on this Reg!
Those little green wheels finally caught up with him... Great cover Reg!
