you tell me what you want
you tell what you need
i cant give you nothing honey
but this pretty little seed
where has the sun gone
and is it gone forever
will it come back someday
should we just give it some time
i ask you what…
when i was 18 i took in a runaway
she crawled into my bed on the 7th day
i played her music and i cooked her food
i did everything i thought i should
i let her sleep late and i paid her way
then her dad showed up one day
well she had grown…

you are like the rain that falls with the snow
or is it the other way around
i dont know
all i know is i love you
and cant get above you
it is driving with no place to go
the muscle and the bone i find
that keeps my heart in line

i saw the curtains changing color
i watched the sun room come alive
i have been sitting in this rocker

i am hoping for redemption
cant stand the way i feel
i know it is only passing through me
rivers flood…
thanks
yes, this were recorded for the rpm challenge. i only drew on my note books for two songs and just for inspiration. i had already meet the 35 minutes of music requerment for the project but felt the subject of my friends death last february (shadow of the son) needed to be adressed. what a great experience (rpm)

'Your plane has already left'
Standing in the shower last summer one weekend when my family was out of town, missing them. It made me think about how empty life is without the ones I love most. Also worked in some imagery I've been toying with for a number of years--the river…
rpmchallenge is exhausting. even when you don't have kids, or aren't taking classes, or don't have lots of vocational responsibilities. so, I didn't give up. I finished. but I thought about calling it quits. this song was a thought along the way…
great melodies here. i like how you build a grove. love the choral keys. i tend to like these kinds of drum loops as well.
never give up . rust never sleeps and all that

Sundays have always been a disappointment for me. If you've never spent the entire day just moving about, drinking beer, enjoying the weather and putting off the upcoming week, you should. Maybe not every week.
