I've been really into soundtracks for the past few days, especially those for action games and the notion of having a static, subtle track run over unpredictable game actions and still making the whole thing work.
So this was made with that…
Have just been listening to this on *small voice* another site... :) Love the percussion and the tension in the rising arrangement. The windchimes(?) at the end are a magical, rejuvenating touch. Very expressive and original. Great track.
Rather, it includes Norm's excellent track Pilón For A New Son (http://alonetone.com/norm/tracks/piln-for-a-new-son). Was trying to find out how less I can get away with in rhythms while still having enough flow. Feedback welcomed :)

@Norm: Thanks! Yeah I can see what you mean, I love trying to implement other ideas in my music, trying to adapt to new styles etc. Lots of fun. Suffice it to say I'll be using more of your tracks in the future :)

Whoa! That's awesome Tipu!
A big part of the fun for me at AT is tying my patterns to helium balloons and releasing them onto the interweb - there is no telling where they will ever end up or what (if anything) ever becomes of them.
But sometimes somebody nabs one and sends it back so different, so evolved and so reconsidered that I hardly can recognize it. Heard from a completely different clave (or phase shift) with fresh new perspectives (not to mention wonderful mixing, mashing and effects) for vintage patterns. Heard for the first time again...
Yeah, I wax poetic. But man, I just love that.

This is a single take with a bunch of reverb added after the fact in Reaper (also an experiment…
Do you know who Gregor Hilden is? These jams reminded me of him, except his work is more blues oriented. I'll include a link to his channel in a private message. great stuff!
i can hear the digits in your digital audio
i feel the need to fidget with my mouse and my moby
i’m listless as i listen to prestigious presentations
of manipulated data and prestidigitation
i type unlisted numbers into my communicator
i'm dubious…

JUST ONE OF A MILLION LONELY MEN (Lyrics)
Can't find love in this cold hard city
There ain't no love and there ain't no pity
Walking alone in the lamp lit town
Trying to hide my sorrowed frown…
We had to drag Elvis and the Big band out for this one.....hope you enjoy.......
All I Want Is Love (Lyrics)
Can’t you see what i need
Cant you see how i feel
All i what from you is love
Thats what i want
Want to feel
All i need
All…
My second attempt at the RPM challenge 2012......
DO WE STAY OR DO WE GO (Lyrics)
I drink to try and resolve all the problems that i know
i try to find some kind of escape but i’m afraid that i’m just too late
all my thoughts they whirl around…
Featuring Mark Hubbard & Duma, on didj & percussion respectively, this one begins as the most traditionally structured piece on the album. But don't get used to it, it doesn't last long... just enough to ease you into the formlessness…
from the album "Uniform"
she hides her heart under the pillow
waiting for the good fairy to come
replace this worn and broken thing
with a heart that can feel again
she's never sure which night will be her lucky one
but she anticipates…
Loved the whole album. If comparisons need to drawn, sounds like The Afghan Whigs with Clutch like heavy moments, and some grunge melodies thrown in good measure. Regardless, Nice work!

Nice remix and additions Tipu!
I like the minor and simple theme of this one.
excellent track, continually builds upward into a chaotic pulse but you manage to keep it uncluttered.
Nice build, worth the wait.
Sounds looping good to me!

Cool mix.

Best. Album. Cover.
Progressions! The synth like drone in the back, that's the guitar too? I like how warm this sounds.
Nice, reminded me of 'a tragedy we live in', a bit less dark, more hopeful.
A very humble song. Like.
