This is a piece using 2 keyboards, an M-Audio 88es (vocal choir) and Alesis Q49 (brass choir) in 17 notes per octave. The objective was to use some functional xenharmonic chord progressions. I would be interested in knowing if you perceive the…
one could make any brass instrument to play in any temperament by valve placement and tubing length as far as I know. On the other hand 24 note per octave (and finer divisions) are avalable on wodwind and brass with using alternate fingering. On a recent trip to Urbana for a performance Peter's composition called for french horn playing in harmonic series tuning - but I guess the actual use comes close to 72 equal. Reg has got a kinda Bluesy political thing going on this one.....he's been reading the paper and watching the news..........it's a little too long but i think he makes a point.......do you?
Two ambient guitar tracks recorded independently and stick together. I broke my rule of not using distortion on a BL piece, for the first time, believe it or no.
I'm not on top of it as usual, guys. But I did manage to let Greg Brady out of my basement and set him free. This is his testimonial regarding the incident. I hope he can forgive me.

Normal IL - tantalizing close to Urbana where musicians are turned to the darkside of microtonality. Come, let me show you the power of a 19 note per octave guitar! Seriously - if you are interested at all you may want to make the drive.
Along with her magnificent harmonizing vocal tracks, Inge sent me one track which was crashed by her 2-year old son Willem. He pretty much takes over the whole operation at about 3:00.
In the background you can hear the original rough vocals…

What's that then? Ethyl Chloride? Guitar sounds good, tad loud though, I have my volume on 40% The icy tinkling's nice!
It's very dramatic Chris! I couldn't get the "More" to come up but the photo is lovely, gentle, quiet, floaty ....

I like the Roman Legions advancing bit. Brushes hair back, yeah, stirring! Nice isn't fair, it's super.
Golly, I bet they enjoyed that! Oh, thought you were going to burst into, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" then.
That was really interesting! It hit home! Zonk!
Good title. Eerie with mist and no shadows, not quite be able to see through.
Very nice Chris. Great piece, and having a great guitarist preform it is really killer. Bad ass man, bad ass.
Congrats Chris! It is very gratifying to have such a talented guitarist select your composition for his performance!
Very nice composition.
I think the residents should be delighted with your visits. I like the way it picks up at around 2.40.

Lovely composition Chris.
A fine display of a classic piece of art. Very creative gents.
Sounds like they dig 6/8 meter.
Well, yes, there is no right or wrong in music Chris, but taking somebody's noodles is plain wrong, I don't care how you look at it.

I expected Beatles - boy was I surprised!! This is a wonderful bright, bubbly pop song - almost Beach Boys - but really good and modern!

very nice!
like I need to be encouraged!
