This is a piece in a microtonal tuning - but sounds very much like pentatonic in "normal" 12 equal tuning to my ears. But I work in microtonal tunings all the time and may be biased.
How "in tune" does this sound to you?

full screen and HD recommended for the video - to see the software in action responding to my (edited) improvisation.

I think that for the type of piece, this is in tune - almost. A little tighten here and there, it would be perfect. Playing in harmony most of the way through, well it has to be in tune!

Reg has never really understood Love.......... not in last 20years since first hearing this song .........it's still all a Mystery to him................
I was listening to Andy Casson's song Old ladies over on Songcrafters and it got Reg thinking........... could this be the last song i ever hear................so Reg went down the cellar to write a one chord song using only the notes that make…
Bob and Reg got together tonight down the cellar and came up with this one dedicated to Desirea......Reg didn’t realise at the time but Desirea had got her hooks into Bob as well during her time down the cellar....but hey, all's well in love and…
a song about hoping for the best for all of us. the ending riff is about angst and disapointment and i use a flange on the ending lead guitar work. the closing of the song inspired me to make another song called locked door to my soul.
performed by Ashley Reynolds
from the album "Sunny, sorta..."
and she opened her eyes
the frailness all gone
but she wasn’t surprised
it was fortold all along
and the healing complete
not a shell anymore
what a magical feat…
this song - purple mountains was iriginally a jam back in 75. chris vaisvil was the guitarist and i always remembered it cause i liked it. he had an echo-plex then and it was pretty psychedelic. no keys were originally in the song but it was a…
Elvis got philosophising in the cellar again last night.........................so Louie and Reg got Bluesy with him and this is what turned out of the session.........
DREAMER(Lyrics)
Well I asked the mirror if my dreams would come true…
You'll never guess who turned up last night but the old Baird himself ....Will....Him and Louie jumped up to do this one for the cellar crowd...........

Intentional or not you sound like a 78 rpm record - it is like listening to folk song from the 30's - that is very cool. I like you composition and obviously the production.
Comments on vaisvil's stuff
I can hear the quarter tones. Intriguing!
Neat!
enjoyed that Chris...............
Dreamy!
A most effective and fine composition. Hypnotic ending!
cool effects.
TD indeed! I wish they still sounded like this.
I hear bits where it's obviously not the "standard" tuning we've been trained to hear as "right" but this piece is quite beautiful to my ears!
I think I'm too used to hearing equal temperament. Sounds out of tune to me in places but not unpleasantly so. Will have to listen a couple more times
That's some tonkin' honkin'
Very nice "pure" harmonies! Ooo, lovely high notes!
and a Ho!!! Ho!!! Ho!!!! HAPPY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!!!!
Most of the notes are on pitch but some are maybe a few cents flat? I agree with Sister.
I mean, it is in harmony, therefore, is in tune! Almost!

I agree with Norm 9/10 loved the tune..
Ah, so lovely...the intro was especially soul-sweetening.
Ooh!! Intriguing flavours! Very nicely done! Merry Christmas Eve, Chris.
To answer your question, it doesn't sound completely in tune to me in places - but the sounds are very compelling.
Well ... I have even more appreciation for the piece now that I know what you are up to. I think it's exceptional.

nice spooky keys at 1:45 ish - very 60's psychedelic feel
well done!
I really this version!!
love it!
I hear a lot of melodies in this one. All of the drums seem to speak to me. Even the clave. Perhaps I'm finally getting it?
This is were its at!! Groovy!!
Is there a connection with Desiree? Who is the real Desiree? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Succubus
I feel for Bob - he don't deserve the misery that's coming down the road...
