11 notes per octave (11 edo) has been a tuning that has generated a lot of music later. Not wanting to be left out I decided to take some time to compose a piece in 11 edo using Garritan Personal Orchestra. As a subject matter suitable for…
Great subject matter you have captured the suspense and Mystery and horror....similar in feel not content of the music Jaws the way in which it feels like he is encircling his prey....an excellent feel to this piece.. love it
This starts at essentially the same improvisation pattern and then travels elsewhere - I think I like the Martin version better myself. This one is in stereo.
A good friend and percussionist Norm Harris contributed percussion to this track – A Cast of Billions - so I ripped out all of the midi percussion and used Norm’s percussion, added a track where I speak Evan’s poem and did some remastering…
A setting of CA Conrad's poem, Subterrestial Aria, 1st Watch
7/8 90 BPM
CA Conrad's reading of his poem from pennsound
Prepared electric mandolin
Electric guitar looped
Flute
French Horn
Bowed Piano
Tubular Bells
Field recording of an upright…
excellent..... love the Conrads poem and the performance of it....a real mystery going on with the sounds in the second half.. Conrads voice reminds of someone of the Lou Reed album the Raven

Well, I feel almost human today. Been a rough few days with the flu or something. I'm running on a baked potato - seems I can't each much else yet. It was ironic that I became sick just when I went to pick up a Boss Loop Station I found for half…

This is wild! Strangely attractive, inspite of the voltage noises you push through my head. A couple of great guitar licks, around 2:30 and love the rhythm guitar riff around 5:45.
Your percussion work is top notch.
This started up while I was commenting something else... initially I was going to stop it, but something dragged me in... I was over halfway through before I realised I'd stopped typing!
Nice one, well worth a listen... it kept my attention all the way.
(I do hope I actually pressed send on the other comment - I keep forgetting to when this happens!)
The only thing notable about this cover of George Harrison's The Art of Dying is that it is one take (of *many* blown attempts) with the only edit being adding a bit of choir at the end using the midi data from the Roland GR-20. And no I didn…
Well last night just as i was of to bed , there was a knock on the door of the cellar and it was John & George they had come for a sess and i mean who was i to deny them…..they'd heard of the Beatle fest from Elvis…he could never keep quiet…
cover of the pink floyd song
dr alfredo de pietra on guitars and myself on vocal duties. a slighty different mix from the two versions at songcrafters.
love the sound - you should try to get a convolution reverb sample of this space. I'm not quite sure how to do that but the info has to be on the net somewhere.
Had a couple of ours spare this morning while the gang have gone for a bike ride/walk....so here goes...
Lets Fly (Lyrics)
Everybody's laughing but I feel like to cry
As I watch the party pass us by
I don't know what to think or what to do

Well Reg has just realised that he keep making the same mistakes with his relationships as he always has....the first song from the Newly built cellar.....Jim just had to jump o this one............
Hello pain my old friend it's so nice to see…
Yes indeed Jim Morrison in vocal tone but perhaps Ton Waits in lyrics. Excellent if being thrashed with a pepper sprayed cat-o-nine tails is excellent :-)
i was trying to work on a piece for a shark video of mine, but this is what came out instead,, my piano moments collections are the small musical threads that emerge amongst/while i am working/thinking about other things,,,

Hypnotic! Wow!! Captured some real power here!
Love this riff - not sure which I prefer, I think the other has the edge...but love the extra improvised bits here.
Totally original - great effect with the mandolin!
Woah, did I? Go me! This is magical - tranquil and mystical with a sting in the tail.
Back for another visit loving this

7/8 = awesome pick for this song.
Excellent! Percussion is top notch!
Is that you or a vocal-sample?...wow this cool stuff....kick percussion with both hi-hats fit right in...this is intense!
Nuthin' unsteady about those hands. Great work! And what WAS that stuck to the eave?
i hear a music of, long vistas, desolate but beautiful landscapes,, weither it is internal or external, i can not be sure... Chris, this very will done, on many levels R
really really cool. particularly when you start exploring the odd (non tempered?) intervals
Quite the trip! Wonderful groove!
Love the music, flavours of Istanbul. Cool perc. there Norm!
Nice tone there, sounding good to me Chris and I hope you are feeling better.

funny thing about it is that I thought Steve was trying to get rid of me. Perhaps he was a master of the mind f**k
Cool song... it sounds like the green fairy visted!
you know... its a girl on the phone call - maybe Norm got Desirae busted for indecent behavior! Gosh I don't want he after me though!
Catchy title indeed! Nice song!

Frank wants to re-record this. I think we will be doing that sooner than later.
