I electrified my psaltery and played it in various ways in an tuning adjusted by ear. Probably some JI of some type then. I played along with some modified drum loops and ran it through effects of course.

As the title says I spent some time with my 17 et guitar. I purposefully tried doing non-12 sounding stuff with what I think is moderate success. I believe I will have to resort to some "dots" to get some new scales in 17 et down - there just…

Another routine Vaisvil piece. Oh, and by routine I mean:
Hang drums.
Ebow.
17 note octaves.
Fretless bass.
Outrageous prose that is difficult to logically follow.
Exploding fish.

My first attempt at a Blumlein or Mid/Side recording. This one is actually a mid/side recording as I used a directional mic in combo with a figure 8 ribbon mic set at 90 degrees from the main mic. Thanks to Pat Broaders for the loan of the ribbon…

nope - those are chinese gongs - some just have natural phasing - I don't know how that works but there it is. Also, according to the gong samples I have you can get a large number of different sounds depending how they are struck. Heck, I forgot, Norm has a gong - a pretty big one too - I bet he could make you some custom gong samples if you'd like.
I did this in order to stretch it out about 20 times as long as it is and did just that but or should I say because I used a very low sample size for the sound I would get something similar to echo stretches just like a 2k size of sample in paulstretch…

I didn't have to make the same mistakes as you.
Father, why did you run away?
There was so many things left unspoken with you.

Chris sent me this great tune playing his 17 ET guitar and fretless bass, and for some reason i thought Mafia instantly. Sammy the Bull was the under-boss to John Gotti back in the 80's and 90's and he turned informer to bring John Gotti down…

Ha, sounds like a challenge. Yep, it was! I love that drum beating, conjours up the idea of Roman Warships.
s'quite a journey that.. a tense but strangely enjoyable one.. certainly never gets dull!
Nice atmosphere and detail here. Fitting title, lone contemplation...
Dramatic elements, somewhat formal/conceptual result.

ooo 0:16 - like the electric guitar feedback sound! you are getting a lot of great textures!
some Janis Joplin or Joe Cocker vocals would really finish this one off!
the video gives the impression of galactic nebula super imposed on visceral human organic residues - this is a really unique video Bill.
much more effective with the video and stretch! this looks so cool!!
