Trax in Space appeared to be shutting down - so this was a musical interpretation of the pending demise. As it turned out TiS is still struggling to breathe => not too unlike those smokers on oxygen you see in anti-smoking ads.

I loaded Sonar with a couple audio tracks + echo and recorded my wife's seagull acoustic via a dean markley soundhole pickup.
After the take I multiplied a couple times and edited a touch.
This is really just a test for a planned piece like…

This may be the most difficult vocal part I have written and tried to sing - but the vocal dissonance IS intentional.

My goodness, you're clever. I'm completely blinded by the science but I'm not deaf. Amazing sounds!
There is an Indian feel here, which I love and also the music fading out sounds like church bells.

I think the material from 2007 / 2008 resides on the server in a folder left from the old soonlabel forum. I didn't delete that folder so that the links would not break. But now a decade later perhaps I should just delete it.
This is very mysterious - sounds like you are running you voice through the synth?
I said it so long ago:
"We don't know.
We might not ever, will we?"

Ever heard of Robert Wyatt? Very much that style. Good job.
Yes - I love it! Beautiful morning for some epic prog. Impressive songwriting and production, and excellent work with the vocals & lyrics.
My naked soul embodied in flesh trembles at the self created horrors we all must live with Powerful stuff.
Well, you chose a piece very difficult to sing and you pulled it off. The music is beautifully done and I especially loved the piano.
Great production and very poetic lyrics. Well done.
Hey, nice very nice!! I loved the piano
Lovely textures you've created here! Really nice track!
Great sonic space and execution, BL will be favoriting/dl'ing this.

The music is excellent in how strident it is.
reminds me of the minute man air corp of Massachusetts bringing down spitfires during the Boston Tea Party of 1812. Some tea - some party!
Great sounds in this!
excellent odd and menacing mood!
Its the only reason to have a day job!
