Angelos Quetzacoatl composed this piece and then we performed it on video for your enjoyment during a recent visit. Angelos plays fretless guitar and I play fretless bass in 24 edo (quartertones).

This is a piece in a microtonal tuning - but sounds very much like pentatonic in "normal" 12 equal tuning to my ears. But I work in microtonal tunings all the time and may be biased.
How "in tune" does this sound to you?

"High Life" is a musical genre that originated in Ghana in the 1900s and spread to Sierra Leone, Nigeria and other West African countries by 1920. My friends from that part of the world consider this be the "go-to" rhythm for just about anything…
Kinda rough. I'm uploading this mainly to share a guitar technique I've been working on. I'm wearing a slide on my picking hand and using it to alter pitches in single line phrases. There's a lot more can be done with this technique that I've…
I 2nd the request for a video. I'm assuming you are pushing the slide off the bridge toward the neck - correct? I've net ever heard of someone putting the slide on the picking hand before - but it sure sounds great!! Beautiful piece of work here Kirk!!
This rough track uses my Blue Just Tuning system (go to www.johnsmusic7.com for details and a photo of the guitar). This is the same tuning Chris Vaisvil used in his Excluded By Peers piece. I hope to add some lead to the track soon.

Jqscutt had this guitar riff that he sent me and we worked out a song with bass, rhythm, lead and drums over the internet. I posted it for a collab for some key additions. This was added by TiS friends K-Lyd and Coruz. Later, they found Liam…
A slightly destructive children's song... But I suspect that many of you have tried some of the things mentioned.

Impressive runs!
Aw, now I want curried porcupine...
Call it what you like, I enjoyed it.
You are wacked for sure my friend :) Love the tones. I still can't get a handle on microtonal myself though I like it when you do it!
Can one have too much curry?

TD indeed! I wish they still sounded like this.
I hear bits where it's obviously not the "standard" tuning we've been trained to hear as "right" but this piece is quite beautiful to my ears!
