I wrote this song a while back...
First I Ever Did....
Catch The Original on Soundclick If you want.......
It Got Covered by some Awesome Musicians!!
Mark (Launched) :Bass, Backing Vox and Production
Geir Alfsen: Lead and Guitars…
awesome song!
To answer you question on metal screaming -- it's more of a vocal trick than anything. Try constricting your throat slightly to duplicate the noise. It's more about getting the tone you want than the volume (like I said, it's a trick - you use the microphone for volume). It's forceful and tiring but little air actually moves to make the sound... meaning you can carry the scream for an impressingly long period of time if you want. Hopefully that helps... it's much easier to learn when you can actually witness someone doing it in front of you... so to speak.
Played and Sung at the same Time.....
Recorded On One Track....
Words made up on the spot....
Was in Two Minds as to if I should Post it....
I aint Preaching in this.....
It is Just something which makes me, "me" that I want to…
The Wife is a self confessed “Not a morning personâ€.....
I am a morning person (well... Wake up happy person).... and so is the boy....
This causes some friction sometimes.... LOL!!!!!!!
We went to a church fate today... Was…
Came up with this Before bed last night.
Had to record it this morning so I wouldn't forget the Sound of it...
Live recording
I'll do a better version when I have more time...
Well.... Off to work for me...
This is…
Another one rebuilt after my freak SD card initialization fiasco. The excellent solo work was done by my buddy Gnasty - I love it!
This is the second part of a two part song. I'll get the other part up next hopefully.
Badass Solos: Gnasty…
Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy.
This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…
I dig the combination of guitar and harmonica (not something I thought I'd ever say). The vocal effects are surreal. It makes me think of some of Marilyn Manson's extremely stuff before he got big. Great song!
Ring of Fire - lyrics by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash -1963. Slightly modified.
This wasn't meant to be Ring of Fire but that's how it wound up.
I have been wanting to trash Ring of Fire and the words just seem to fit this simple 1-4-5…
Uploaded once and deleted.
This is a second take on guitar and vocals.
The first in a new process of mixing down.
It's about a soldier. The first person that came to my mind
when I thought, who would be singing a "Silent Love Song…
This song is awesome! It has that nice mellow feel that just makes me want to sit here and drink a beer while basking in it (which is what I'm currently doing) :)

As a long time Johnny Cash fan I have to say thank you for doing this song justice. You definitely made it your own and put a very nice twist on it.
