Yeah this does have something of the sea about it....aint it a funny thing how we hear different things....I think it is that bump and grind bass notif that does it for me ....and I can deffo hear a pirates life for me running under it all......well cool.
I find it difficult to believe this is all Midi instruments.
The Midi guitars, bass & leads, I ran through amp sims.
The drums are all Midi. 7 tracks.
Kicker, snare, 2 tom tracks, high hat, tambourine, and a cowbell.
All done on the keys…

ah yes the wonders of modern world...whisper into a microphone and after $6,000 in studio work, your the next pop icon. ;) Killer track. I love the "band" name idea from K. Ha ha nice...

Another attempt at a Carol Kaye-bassline, slightly more succesfull. I quite like how this turned out although it's kinda slick and not something I could really use in another context (it just sounds like I didn't make it myself which I quite like…
The first version.
This is the first and only song I wrote on [arrsuarez](http://alonetone.com/arrsuarez)'s Christmas gift to me, a mbira that he lovingly crafted by hand.

Format Sea - Part Two
Based on the age-old concept that a person is born anew every seven years. It's technically meant in terms of physiology - you develop all new bones/muscle/fat in a seven year period. I kind of add a spiritual/alien abduction…
This is a track from our album "Fallen They Be" submitted as a part of the RPM Challenge 2009.
Guitar - James Blair
Guitar, Drums - Jason Hannah
Vocals, Keyboards - Casey J. Payne
[Thanks to Helen and Colin for coming to my aid with the warblings! :) ]
When You Least Expect It
And you're out to dry
And its all too hectic
Thats when it comes x 2
And it feels electric
And you feel alive
Cos when you least expect…
all the pounding waves
drowning out the sound
the sound is poison
diving down below
sinking very slow
drown away the sound
if I, can't make it
stop your soliloquy
I feel the death inside me
in this succession
the still and quiet
I will succumb…

Damn nice man! We should form a band. I hear the name "Deep Purple" is taken so maybe we can be "Shallow Burgundy"
once again, skip the wrapper and think current R&B Singers, soulful, that's the way to go.
i beg to difer on the "it needs a rapper" comment. i hear beyonce singing a groovy little number on this.
Excellent!
Verrrry smooth. Definitely belongs on a soundtrack. No need for the vocal or lead guitar hook. I wouldn't mess with it one bit.
A good canvas. Now would also add "lifeline" (kinda "theme" or "solo") and then ... huh ...?
LOVE THIS.
fun cheeky number!
nice sounds, very distinctive
yeah i'd agree.. definitely worth exploring further. nice one chappy :)
Smooth . . . Thanks for showing how it's done.
verrry nicely done,,,
I see a bunch of vocalists wanting to use this. The writers will be dropping lyrics running to this. I say it is great as it is.
Smooth vibes on this one! Love it!!
This is Great! Reminds me of The Backing tracks of "UK Grime" artists. Militant beats bro!! I can imagine an army marching to this..

Just plain groovy man. Love the synth. Whoa! nice change there...
Good songwriting here. I wanna hear everything you record.
The kind of classic talent I just don't get to hear these days. Until now. Thank you...
Very Very nice!
First and Only? This is too cool. More, More, More. I think this lowered my blood pressure. Kids are home.... ya know?
I like this. Short and sweet.
Nice. Mix seems fine here. I cranked it up so the neighbors could hear. : ) They all think I'm weird so this really helped.
My arms are tired just listening. Drums are awesome.
One of my favorites. Good job.
Whew! Love the wah-wah guitar. I'm sweatin now. Keep it coming. I'll be back for more.
Anymore like you guys in Nebraska? Who knew.... Good stuff. I like it. Very Professional.
Sweet! Reminds me of Ultravox.
