I picked up on one of Norm's wonderful grooves.
I added some bass, guitar, horns, and a basic drum track. Kicker and snare with a few cymbols. I didn't want to walk on Norm's fine, fine, percussion.
Thanks Norm for allowing me the opportunity…
I admire the way that some of you guys can just seem to make this jamming over sound almost effortlessly easy ...I know that it isn't.This is well good .

Just another time traveling love song from your ole Uncle Paul.
Mostly MIDI synths and some analog bass and screaming Ibanez.
Drum loops too. I was going to drum it, but these two loops really kinda drive it along.
Enjoy.....

A long over due changing of the acoustic strings led to this epic production. 40 tracks and 34 plug-ins. Good Gravy that's a boat load of tracks. All kinds of stuff happening.
Enjoy!

One of my "Celtic" tracks - "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day" is an old English carol and I think the melody is beautiful in its elegance and simplicity. I recorded this in the basement in 2005 or 2006. Penny whistle, bells, guitars and strings…
I told the [good Sister](http://alonetone.com/sistersavage) that I wanted to try using vocals in a track and she offered to do me some abstract, stylized, vocals that I could play with and this little number is the result.
Working with wet (pre…
From the archives. Traditional Irish slow air. Myself on the Uilleann pipes with synth backing. This was recorded at a concert here in Weston back in I think '92. Originally recorded on an ancient 4 track machine and then transferred to cassette…
From the 24 hour album. Began this one 47 minutes into the 24hr session. Listen to the full work here: http://alonetone.com/glu/tracks/glus-24
I haven't touched this track in over two months. What does it need?
Instrumentation: Bamboo flute…
Very rough sketch of something I am working on, with my even sketchier vocals. All about how we seem to be intent on using up everything this planet has to offer. Any ideas or comments please

Narrative: A lonely scientist was stationed to Tundzha Glacier in Antarctica to study fissures.
Instrumentation: I stretched, repitched, and looped two sections…
A long meditation/wank.
This weeks guitar lesson we started looking at melodic minor modes. I went home and started practicing scales. Wasn't long before I got stuck on Dorian flat 2. So I fired up the looper and recorded a session.
Funny…

Poured myself a small cup of acoustic guitar, half finger picking, half ebow. Nothing fancy, nothing magical, nothing fantastical, just something to relax through.

Awesome mix!! Amazing comparing it to my take in Skin on Skin http://alonetone.com/rickph/tracks/i-dont-know-what-i-dont-know-with-norm
Made me feel a little horse listening to this.
Great additions! Full-bodied and groovy!
neat-o!

Experimental shit! That's what I really dig about you. Very Zappa-like!!!
Nice spacey reverb feel to it. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. ER
You reveal too much of yourself here, friend. Well, so to speak. ER
I love what you've done here! Swanky groove!
I just love your bass work here. What a treat!
Nice groove going on...the lead riff is catchy
Very Cool Paul!Love the melodies you've added and the horns are a nice touch
oh surprise, surprise! and quite an unexpected direction: funky and orchestral, that's a sweet retro-flavored piece! :)
Very pretty synth sounds. I thought, "Screaming Ibanez? mmm don't know", but when it comes in it works really well.
A most full and well produced track, I especially like the percussion but hey, it's all great.
Very nice Paul! ha ha!
I do love the original but your additions are really well done with great taste. Nice one Paul.
Thanks for your comments. I'm sure there will be more of this style in the pipeline.

Super guitar playing Bill. I enjoyed this piece. Instant favorite.
Great guitar playing. I'm off to listen to more Bilbozo!
I like it Alan. I put some in my coffee. Very hot, sweet, and ready for cream.
Bowed guitar? Unreal. They sound fantastic. Gettin' cold here too.
Uncle Paul says this is excellent! I appreciate you posting the scale. I like the Dorian mode and never considered a flat 2nd. powering up the Roland.
I can listen to this all day. Really.
Very nice!
