Something I'm working on. I'm a sucker for 5/4 time these days.
The biggest issue is the vocals which are sort of a placeholder right now until I re-write and re-record them, or maybe even find someone who can actually sing to lay something down!

Sweeeeeet. Wow, awesome drums, awesome rhythm, loving it, really nice organsynth/guitar. Ending kicks some ass, love the way the beat drops back in. Only problem with the vocals that I hear is that they are hidden/not loud enough, but that's for my taste :)

Experimenting with my piano/keyboard skillz and a first attempt at record clapping. Needs a good go over with some quality drums and some better arranging. Everything sounds very "synthy" on account of I don't have any quality VSTi at the moment.

i agree with your comments on this track. you should definitely expand on this idea and go somewhere with this.
all in all, the clapping sounds great though, center field and spacey!

Ooooh, that bass is Juicy Fruit, love it. Clapping turned out really well. Gotta admit, I wanted it to build up and keep going! But I'm happy to be teased too :) Did you use compression at all, or is everything completely clean?
What'chcu using these days as a DAW anyway? Good thing I ask you these detailed questions when alonetone doesn't let you reply back in a threaded way (who built this darned site anyway!) - but heck, I'm curious.

An experiment in simplicity. Back to the basics. It's the only counter to stagnation. Don't over think!
This was pieced together quickly while in front of the microphone. Revisiting the editing/mastering process was fun.

A typical folk song.
Written and recorded in about an hour for the 24 hour album (attempted on March 13th). Excuse roughness and vocal glitches, it was 2am and this was my first full take.
Thanks to montgomeru for his chord suggestions…
a culmination of the past few nights, alone, in the dark, a feeling has been lingering and this is my attempt at capturing it.
this is unfinished i think, i feel like something needs to be changed or added or taken away, or that it needs to…
This is a new song that started as a guitar pick, then got some words. I finally recorded this. It has 3 parts. Nylon guitar, Electric and voice. This is part of the "human racing" series I am working on.
Matter is surprising
Not what…

Nice one I enjoyed that
I love your voice, it has an innocent quality but would like it louder here. Hey, it's work in progress. Great stuff!

This is brilliant - great driven, rushing sound. And I think the understated vox work as they are! Really nice work!
harvey this is class!!!

great experiment.
Love this, Harvey. Made me smile BEFORE my morning cup of tea.
I know the feeling. I enjoyed listening. It was so good it almost seems the 1 min 44 sec time was shorter.
I think you could really expand this, Harvey, it has all sorts of potential. Different!
Nice piece from the Harv-Meister... More Please!!
Love it.. especially that bass! I want the track to be twice as long, but I'll take what I can get! nice work.
This is the opening to a big movie, right? Camera moving slowly through a New England town in the autumn; red leaves blowing around...

Yay, it works nicely, clean clapping too.
Sweet! Wish this were longer. Love that bass part
I love this, your voice is gorgeous and the guitar mmmmm yummy. Any chance of a another couple of hours?
This is great too - fun vocal, love it.
